Bought this last week for PC, special edition version with updated/remastered graphics and all the DLCs for £10 off CD Keys. It feels much better than it did on Xbox One and I'm really enjoying the mouse and keyboard aspect vs. controller. My first playthrough is going to be a standard one with no mods, but my second one will involve plenty of mods and will rework the game completely.

I still have this installed (SE version) and amazed great things are still being made for it. Just installed Window Shadows + ELE (uninstalled ELFX). Completely new lighting making windows project light and creating shadows.

Available for PC and Xbox. There's compatibility patches linked on the Nexus mod page for JK's Skyrim if you use that.

Can someone please explain to me why I feel compelled to keep playing this game? Must have done 25+ playthroughs at this point, played the game several different ways to various levels before getting tired of it and stopping...yet last night I found myself starting another game. Anyone else doing the same, not touching the game for like 6-9 months and then feeling compelled to start a new playthrough and just chucking your previous file?

Funnily enough, after building a new PC, I've just started another playthrough with loads of texture mods etc. I had best of intentions to play a different way this time, concentrate on magic or stealth but as usual I've ended up with a dual wielding sword maiden rushing straight into trouble !!Finally started this after nearly 11 years and building a new pc in 2010 to play it !! I've had a couple of false starts before when I've spent a couple of hours but now nearing level 10.
Looking at FWD's graphics I was really torn between the Xbox and the PC ... Eventually decided on the Xbox because of the achievements ... Shallow I know !
I'm really, really enjoying it I hope they release it on Gamepass for the PC soon so I can have seamless saves between Xbox and PC.
I've had a browse and some of the Xbox mods look OK including 60fps but again only if not bothered about achievements.

I am on my fourth proper play through. First time ever I am a mage (now 100 destruction) and a total sneak thief (100 sneak, 100 pick pocket). It is so funny creeping up to an enemy and stealing all their armour and weaponry, dumping it somewhere and then going back for a fight. 100 pick pocket allows me to slip poison into enemies inventory and it effects, them. Hit them with some fire vulnerable poison and then attack them with firestorm. Such a different playstyle than stomping in there with 100 heavy armour skill and 100 two handed and smashing heads with a Daedric warhammer.
I am going to the towns that I didnt really spend much time in and trying to speak to everyone and completing every task that relates to them and the town. That opened up some new experiences.
I've played Ps3 and PS4 pro special edition and now PC special/remastered with mods.
What sort of play through are you going for this time?
