What is the accepted best solution to running Skyrim SE above the 60fps physics cap without experiencing problems?

Seems this is the best solution

This - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mod...
And this - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mod...

Edit the havok fix ini to disable vsync and set frame limit.

Bit of how much can I push it testing before I start a game, first time for a long while. Ryzen 5 5600x & RTX 3070 at 1440p using 186 mods, 4k textures, Folkvangr grass & landscape, lush trees and the notorious heavy hitting T'Skyrim addon for JK's Skyrim (Riverwood here).

Always over 60, up to 80~ at times and in other areas too, higher interiors obvs.
Numbers on screen.

So a good one to come back to. I'm trying to add everything I want, what I remember or like before continuing (I use a clean save at the exit of Helgen as the start) so that I can play without installing anything new during the playthrough and remove any potential crash/conflicts.

Good DyndoLOD with volumetric mists and long distance viewing looks nice.

Tip for anyone who doesn't know, if you make changes to a location in game and want to check it works, doesn't cause problems just open the console and type: COC followed by the location, some work with just the name like COC riverwood takes you to Riverwood but most need exterior or interior numbers added, like COC Morthalexterior01 takes you to the Jarl's front steps.

Managed to find the Jedi trees mod, looked ok but I wouldn't game with it as I believe it has navmeshing problems, it's not optimised and I think it uses a flowers not trees as it's placeholders so you might get a tree indoors in a pot. It's also 2.75GB in size.

And some plant stuff.

When you go a little too far, 7.9GB VRAM and 15.6GB RAM usage. I think I'll just dial it down a bit.

I was trying the Skyrim 2020 8k landscape, architecture and everything else texture packs which comes in at 25GB unzipped. Also comes in 4k and 2k flavours too.

Grass grass as far as the eye can see, and more lod info so the distance doesn't look like empty space waiting for the mesh to pop-in

DyndoLOD can now do grass lods now so you don't have that awful limited draw distance, without increasing grids to load and messing up encounters.

DyndoLOD v3 information - https://stepmodifications.org/forum/topic/15606-dy...

Ignore the different colour for distant grass for now as I'm still working out what grass I'll use and it takes ages to run the grass precache in Mod Organiser

Do you models actually play the game too or is the enjoyment in the modding?

I have just downloaded ESO and although I am only a couple of hours in I am finding the actual game play clunky particularly the combat mechanics. Game looks good but not really enjoying the playing

Since reinstalling it I have spent about 2 weeks modding it, installing mods I remember and new ones, checking locations, checking stability, making sure everything works and looks the way I want it too. It's done now and I'm playing it again, I have done the first bit of the normal game that activates the Dragons but I am playing 3rd party quests now, things I haven't played before.

My understanding was there is a free next gen upgrade which includes a fishing mechanic and a couple of Creation club quests but it'd be a paid upgrade to get the Anniversary edition with the 300 or whatever creation club quests and items

Fantastic! This is probably my favourite game ever, and if the PS5 version also includes better graphics than the PS4 version then I'm totally sold and it'll give me a reason to actually buy a PS5!
