Properly gutted.
I got my new mobo installed. Was forced into a fresh install and then I realised just how much tweaking I had done to get my gfx card to behave and be stable. I didn't write it down either.
Rookie mistake.
So I have stabilised it a lot but If I just bugger off mid fight it will be because my gfx card/drivers have buggered up again.
NOT because Foobes has killed me for the 27th time. The swine.
Still as frustrating as it will be I am still looking forward to Friday night.

Seriously though When My good man jinx has learnt how, what server rules are we having. No m320 spamming etc.
I vote for no snipers, m320, RPG, tanks, jets, choppers, lav, famas and foobes.

Why can't we all just get along!!!Seriously though I will start the rules discussion with this:-
No base raping (unless the opposing team are camping)
No excessive rpg on infantry and no m320 spamming (if the server can be set to monitor this)

I think these are the important ones.I did kill foobes with an RPG on Bazzar last friday, but only because he valiantly (stupidly?) ran in front of the APC I was firing at!
I will however, occasionally use them to help 'extricate' stubborn snipers from silly hiding places.

I gave Fadingfool a very hard time last Friday because he too killed me with an rpg on bazaar but honestly he was faced with four opponents and had no other ammo. On reflection there really wasn't anything wrong with it.

king with me"It's not using them on infantry per say that bothers me it's spamming or when some turd basket comes across a bloody good firefight on, say, metro and decides to end with a bloody noob tube.

Yeah I quite agree- theres a difference between using one to strategically take out a camper that you can't get an angle on, or in desperation when you have no other ammo- to those idiots who randomly spam them down corridors in the off chance of getting cheap kills.On reflection there really wasn't anything wrong with it.

At the end of the day, war is war!
I can never understand why people get excited about using RPG's and the like. It's no different to real world combat in that sense.
I always get bored of people complaining about RPG kills, where is the line? no M320, grenade, mortar etc?
If you don't like it, its up to you to be better than them and get the RPG'ers.

Because this is a game and when civilised people play games they should behave like sportsmen.Before you say but this is a war game remember that if you want to compare this to war then I would like you to show me how a marine, near death can squat behind a wall for 45 seconds and become completely healthy again, or how defibs bring people back to 100% health after they have shot up or caught in a fatal explosion or the real life box of bandages that heals by proximity.
No it is a game and there are some standards that have built up through years of game play through the series and if we are going to host a server we should decide which of these standards we are going to uphold and enforce on our server.
I don't know about you but when I play a game not only do I want to have fun but I want my friends to have fun and being constantly killed by a tactically inept, stats hunting fool who only cares about their enjoyment only causes frustration and anger.
I personally would like to run a server (as I am close friends with jinx I imagine I will be involved) that is fair balance and above all promotes fun.
This is only a discussion at the mo but this is my opinion.
Also using a noob tube makes you a big girly pouf who can kiss my big fat ginger butt cheeks
