I'd be up for some sqdm to get that objective? Think I can negotiate with the missus to be on about 8...

Everyone happy to switch the mode rotation for an evening?
Sway can you save the map rotation we have, I know its possible, spent ages putting on the other night.
Of course fella, I'll see if I can choose the name so we can build a 'library' of different map/mode rotations...

Oh, see your point about nosehair, but then again you don't need a heli to take out the carrier heli points - soflam and javelin from the shore plays those exceptionally well.

Although its well known you're a heli we!

I'll drop soemone a few quid towards this at some point too thanks for organising.

will the PH server cover CQB when it comes out?

Pexy - at 46/12 i'd be in tears too (crocodile). well played last night.

one of the things i really like doing is during a mass firefight like the start of davamand last night is finding the right split second to take down and dog tag someone...ite Beauuuutifullll...

you can just picture someone ratting the crap out of their gun when all of a sudden.....

Something to discuss closer to the time, but I'd have thought the guys interested in renting a server are the sort of guys to buy every update...

Must say, I take particular pleasure in knifing prone enemies. The shock has just gotta be enhanced by the sudden flash of sky/silhouetted face...

Nom, feel free to ping me a PM if you want to contribute.

So that its not viewed that I'm profiting from people coming in late, I'm planning some added value in terms of proper organisation and comms. This may or may not involve facebook/bf forums, but I'll email everyone with my thoughts before doing anything.

nice one will do.

I don't think I'll be on regularly enough to warrant admin capacity - i'm not teccie either and we've current got a few connection issues.

anyone else struggling with sky broadband out of interest?

I'm on Sky and am regularly frozen or booted out of games. However, I understand that this is a fault with the game, not the connection. I use the same connection via Wi-Fi on my laptop and have very infrequent drop outs (once every few months).

The problem is worse on particular maps, for example on high ticket Gulf of Oman Conquest games, the game will freeze 100% of the time at the closing screen (just before it shows you your awards). I understand this is a common problem.

If Im on tonight. Im up for that.
Cool, like Squad Rush, I imagine it's very different to the large scale games with particular tactics and set ups working well. Automatic shotguns and claymores are game changers on Squad Rush, for example, so I imagine it will take a bit of time to get used to the playing style.

The plus side is that only 16 players play Squad DM at a time, so if we have that many PH players online, at least 4 of us are guaranteed the win!

It would appear the skillset and tactics for squad deathmatch are somewhat different to our natural style.

Certainly mine anyway.

Did the full PH squad come anything other than last?

We turned it around after you left. wink Got a few wins on the bounce, including against a full squad of one clan with a 100 star colonel in it. smile

Yeah they rage quit after two rounds. Made me laugh

I was totally outplayed for 5 or 6 rounds, then things got a little better. Not my fave game type at all though. That's for sure.

If it makes you feel any better, I suspect our turnaround in fortunes had less to do with you leaving and more to do with Pexy and Aloneatron joining. wink

We got a nice bit of teamplay going - I left Pexy and Aloneatron to do the killing while I faffed around with the RPG, mines and the armoured vehicle and Eybic ran around trying to C4 anything that moved! laugh

Agreed, it requires a a very different style of play. Seems to me that you need to set up a central stronghold with a couple of assault guys, an engineer and a support guy, from where you can see a large part of the playing area. Then one or two break out to capture the IFV when it becomes available.

RPGs and anti-tank mines seem to me to be must have items in the team.
