For me, being C4'd is worse than being knifed. I try and be super aware of Support guys running at my tank. I jump out to get them a little to often but it seems to work alot of the time.

Serving the time to unlock the MCOM defender medal has ruined me - I now know all the spots to camp with the LMG and it's just too tempting for me to resist. I was taking them out by the squad on Damavand peak tonight - 7 MCOM defend ribbons in one game! boxedin

I think I need help... laugh

Had some great games on the PH server - it certainly is money well spent from my point of view, so thanks Sway for sorting it. smile

I think we should maybe cut down the tickets on Rush though - 200 tickets to take one set of MCOMs is a hell of a lot. We were mowing them down tonight - our top 4 players had over 200 kills for around 50 deaths - and we only just about won the games by the skin of our teeth! shoot

the game on seine was erm insane - they must have got the outside mco-m with literally 1 ticket left, we were murdering them and then it went pretty quickly to the last two but we held out.

firestorm was alot easier...

good games all round though i'm tired and hung over this morning though hehe

can we rotate back to SQDM please too? i need three more wins on SQDm for the b2K unlocks /self ineterested mode on

PS youngsyr - great team work last night don't apologise for m-com camping getting all of those ribbons is a must!

Hehe good game last night.... Metro became a meat grinder at the end! Really liking the G36C ... Forgot I even unlocked it. Really decent gun when you have it on 2 shot burst mode. Think I am going to use this more over my current favourite the A-91.

Have to say we were getting mowed by you lot... If wasn't snipers it was those laser accurate LMG's on bipods. And I thought we'd lost on the first set of MCOM things and then all of a sudden we were back in the game... Last second save or what!

What sensitivity settings do you all use? Still can't get the hang of the dual shocks odd responses... It's not linear enough and I'm either aiming too slow or too fast and over shooting my target all the time. This is why I just run around with the javelin... Don't have to aim that!

I am going to investigate a ps3 mouse....

i find the dual shock is better than any other i've used - other wireless remotes are too jumpy and unreactive for me.

i'm such a m27 iar we just checking my stats and knife is 4th most kills, 5 behind the usas hehe

For me it's not so much the settings, but the class and weapon load out you choose.

Sounds like you're playing engineer class, which I find is the toughest class to do well in - the carbines are under powered compared to support and assault weapons, so you're at a disadvantage 1 on 1 against those guys plus you're deliberately going up against vehicles which outgun you massively. For those reasons, when I play engineer class I try to spend as much time inside vehicles as possible. When I'm not in a vehicle, I try to hide and wait for enemy vehicles.

If you switched to assault class with something like the G3A3 (unlockable through co-op) I bet you'd find your Kill/Death ratio would increase noticeable and you'd win a lot more 1 on 1s, but obviously you wouldn't be able to take out/repair vehicles.

It's all about playing to your loadout's strengths, hence me camping with the M249 on a bipod when defending MCOMs in the open and running around with a USAS-12 and buckshot (is that still frowned upon?) in the station at Metro.

I have the same problem as you. In Bad Company 2 I was a really good shot but on BF3 I just cant get the hang of the non-linear acceleration that's on the PS3. If I'm taken by surprise my cursor swings all over the place and I hardly get a shot in. I would love the Bad Company 2 right stick movement feeling back again.

I use a fairly low sensitivity. Some ppl think high is better but it makes aiming a lot harder. Only time i'm at a disadvantage is if i run past some1 and have 2 turn around, doesnt happen often tho.

Have had a couple of decent games recently with VEA/shamblez but suffered tonight and couldn't even fire a gun straight.

Had some games on the new maps last night. Very COD in terms of pace, will be interesting to see how they settle down. The graphics on one of the maps were stunning, just didn't have time to properly appreciate them with all of the mayhem. Only 16 players per map so not sure what happens when you are in a sequence with the main maps and you have more players.

What are the new game types - GM, Conquest Domination? etc.

Arrrgh, can't get premium for another fortnight, by which point cqb will be out for everyone...
