To get you excited.... expect far more crazy helicopter missions (think military with unlimited missiles and machine gun), more common supercars, skydiving, cooler guns (exploding shotgun shells), better characters (Gay Tony and Yusuf), underground fight clubs, being a bouncer at a club, etc. Loads of reasons it's better than IV!
Hmm this all sounds very good!Butter Face said:

I was bored of SR3 really quickly, I know its a daft game, I loved SR2, clocked an unreal amount of hours on that, but SR3 just never did it for me...I should really give it another go.
But I have been playing GTA IV more lately, those bloody street preachers get on my nerves, so I make it my mission to kill as many as possible!
I remember bursting out with laughter during a police chase when one of them suddenly got flattened by the burning remains of a police helicopter. But I have been playing GTA IV more lately, those bloody street preachers get on my nerves, so I make it my mission to kill as many as possible!

How about Lazlow, will he be back in V, and less annoying than he was in IV?
He is rather annoying. I have a friend who I now call Lazlow, can talk about himself and his bold ideas about utter crap for absolutely hours. In a pub in a group of people if the subject of conversation changes he will always turn the subject back to himself. Last thing I heard he was going to "revolutionise the gig industry in Southampton" or some bks.ambuletz said:
On a side note, if you never knew, then you do now. the original GTA1 and GTA2 are free to download off R*. Decided to download them today for abit of nostalgia.

NOTE:For some reason, filling in the age/email section and clicking submit didn't work for me on Firefox, but was fine on chrome. so try another browser if it doesn't work.

The way I'm reading the economy stuff, I think an awful lot of the stores and businesses are going to be visitable, possibly for a protection racket or for purchase. I think they'll probably go with the idea of making the map somewhere around the same size as GTA IV but with a lot more content.
I hope they make something like that, I loved it in Vice City, scraping together savings to buy the various nightclubs and the taxi company GG89 said:
I put GTA4 on yesterday to try and replay it (Still haven't fully completed it). Lasted about half an hour before everything I hate about that dark and dingy, lifeless game came back to haunt me and I had to switch it off.
V is looking to be an absolute beauty, though.
I presume this is the original GTA4 you're talking about. TBOGT was what GTA4 should have been from the outset, much more enjoyable!V is looking to be an absolute beauty, though.
I remember trying to adjust to the GTA IV handling compared to the previous games, lots of crashes ensued.
I agree that the car physics are great once you get used to them though, along with the damage you can inflict on them. My personal favourites are that RWD saloon car that looks like a Galant (Vincent?) and the Sultan (Subaru). Great fun getting up to max speed, throwing the back end out and getting some arab style drifting & spinning going on
