I played 1 and 2 and London. Gave 3 and VC a miss (don't know what I was doing with life at the time to miss it) and completed San Andreas and 4.

I seem to love each GTA more than the last so 4 is my favourite. The best part about the GTA are all the surprises, slight easter eggs, and thought that's gone into everything and how they all represent the time period well. Even 4 has terrorism mentioned constantly (why you couldn't go in certain parts of the city at the start of the game) and everyone was on their mobiles on the streets having stupid conversations.

Even going into the burger place and the guy at the counter saying 'I wouldn't eat it' as he gave you your burger biggrin brilliant touches.

I enjoyed the lost and the damned too, but didn't try ballad of gay tony.

Reading all these posts reminded me of this:

I used to have the video downloaded on my computer, which I got from the guys website who made it.

Used to love watching it and listening to the music.

You should. TBOGT was definitely the better of the two "extras".

Vice City was the best in my opinion. Had 4 for quite some time, but it does nothing for me. Not really sure why. I hope 5 is going to be good. Any ideas on dates or theme yet?

I've got that and The Lost And The Damned to go next, just doing the second ending to GTA4.

Second ending? What was that then? I finished the game to 100% but I don't remember a second ending. Please remind me?

I won't spoil it, but there are two ways of finishing, depending on who dies.

Yes, utter mong. I made the mistake of taking out Dwayne instead of Playboy X too. Didn't save either.

Ah yes, I remember now (it has been a while). I had forgotten that there are multiple routes through the game depending on your choices. I played the story through a couple of times and finished the whole lot once. GTA4, along with TLATD and TBOGT are certainly the most visually impressive of the series and VC is definitely the most atmospheric (yes, I have the soundtrack box set), but SA is the game that had the most replay value. It was the only one that had so many "subgames" you could always go back and play some more no matter what you had finished previously.

Just started playing The lost and The Damned after having it sat unopened for god knows how long.

Is there any way of fixing the camera so it doesn't keep swinging round (fixed behind my guy), it's doing my head in banghead

I am now sat here with a tub of pringles, some dip, and a copy of GTA3. Going from the beginning, wonder when I'll complete the damn thing... hehe

What would people like to see in GTA V?

For me, I just want 3 things back from SA..Proper garages, the option to have completely customized outfits, not set "suits" like you get in IV, and being able to buy houses with the cash you earn, I loved that on SA and VC (could you do it on 3?) Not bothered about decorating the houses, but I just want to be able to choose my own!

Yeah I enjoyed buying places and gaining revenue from them. Having gang members protecting them and the like.

I wasn't allowed GTA1 due to parents having a fear of the 18 sticker. So I got my fix on the demo version. I remember getting really nervous when buying the magazine in corner shop and being stopped.

Then found a way to turn off the timer on demo. Happy days.
