How good is this game on a pad (XBox)? I used to have 2011 and 2010, but they didn't seem to play that well with a pad when compared to Forza etc. Thanks.

I have this on PS3, finally dusted off the steering wheel last night and played this for a few hours, personally I cant see any major improvements on the last one other than the visual enhancement, but its still a great game.

I didn't have F1 2011 (Only 2010, it is a massive improvement over that!)

Right, missed my chance to get it yesterday so I will get it sometime this week. The reviews seem very positive, but I had to laugh when I learnt that PH95 did seventy laps on wrong tyres..

tbh I got confused between prime/option and all that crap too...I pitted and put the same ones on again....so had to pit again.

Why not just call them Soft Med Hard?

Awesome game but having not played it since '10 I'd forgotten how hard it was and I'm still using TC on medium and auto gears, I go into spaz mode using gears and KERS and DRS

And I seem to struggle keeping up with cars in front at the moment. More practice is needed

Good, how do you add people on the ps3 thing?

Also i found, once you get the set up right, you can get the car pointing into the corner much better and it doesn't understeer on the throttle as much compared to 2011. However i have been going into a few tight corners trail braking and shifting down the gears, then getting into first gear and the engine braking slipping the back out which is kind of fun but soon becomes annoying when you're trying to conserve tyres.
