I haven't found any corrosive ones yet? I played co op today with some strangers, was really good fun taking out waves of baddies and the exp points seem to rack up as quickly as ammunition disappears! The game also seems fairly hard against some of the bigger bosses which is a welcome change from swanning through a game even on a higher difficulty setting. If anyone on ps3 wants to team up you can add me:

I'm a Level 9 Siren now. Just had that epiphany moment where you get two or three guns that slice through all the tougher creatures really quickly when before I'd be hiding and running around looking for ammo. Obviously they'll level up and I'll come across harder enemies... but that's half the fun Really enjoying it!
Level 11 Assassin here, have to say I've not experienced running out of ammo that much, tend to soften an area up from range with the sniper rifle, then get in close with a pistol and use the sword, pumping my tokens into the close-combat side of things as I'm enjoying that, cloaking and then striking at the last possible second for maximum damage.

Interesting approach and one that I'm having to go for. In the first game I was very much a sniper and that was it. Really wanted to continue in that same style but feel like I'm being forced to play a slight variation on what I wanted.I think you can buy upgrades as you progress that will let you carry more ammo around, so I don't think you'll have to suffer for too long before a solution presents itself. Otherwise I'd suggest acting like a complete kleptomaniac and opening every box you come across.
Edit: This link shows you how to get them, so if you're near Sanctuary then you're not far off being able to do it:

the first-person shooter, published by 2K Games, inevitably invites comparisons with the Halos and Call of Duty games already out and due to come in the next few weeks and months. Borderlands 2 falls short because it’s missing several key elements you need to have in a 2012 first-person shooter game – most notably, a rich multiplayer online mode.
Right.First complaint he has is that it isn't CoD.WSJ said:
There’s an extremely limited four-player cooperative mode, and if you have an Xbox Live Gold account, you can team up that way, but this isn’t the type of deeply engrossing FPS game the headset-wearing COD crowds gather to play months and months after release. In comparison, I read on several sites that COD: Black Ops 2 will feature up to six teams, for a total of 18 simultaneous players, in multiplayer mode.
I don't think he realises that it is a Co-op FPS RPG. Not a competitive shooter like CoD.WSJ said:
Borderlands 2’s single-player campaign mode isn’t as good as what you’ll find in games like COD: Black Ops or the Medal of Honor series.
Brilliant, a large open world First Person RPG with guns versus an 8 hour linear on rails shooter. WSJ said:
There’s too much “feast-or-famine” hunting for tasks, supplies and a good battle for this to be a fun game all the way through.
Because it's an RPG.WSJ said:
I played with my 14 -year-old son, and we found ourselves spending a lot of time mindlessly opening supply boxes and mailboxes to find bullets, health boosts and other goodies we didn’t really want or need yet.
He criticises the game because of looting. Do you think he knew anything about the game before going in ? Also, it's an 18 rated game. WSJ said:
The artificial intelligence of the aliens and other enemies in this game is excellent, and I found it hard to outsmart and outmaneuver them.

As a $30 impulse buy, priced about the same as games like “NASCAR Unleashed,”
I don't even know why he has thrown in a comparison to NASCAR Unleashed...him_over_there said:

Indeed I've got a couple of sniper ammo upgrades now. I'm wondering if that first area was just a little light on ammo drops as it seems to be less of an issue now.Edit: This link shows you how to get them, so if you're near Sanctuary then you're not far off being able to do it:

Good to hear things going well now CL Just noticed myself there's slot machines at the bar - I keep going back blowing all my money and selling the loot from there . Just hoping I might score an Atlas weapon from the slots

Sorry Steve, my internet kept dying tonight. Another time!
I just found out how to see how long I've been playing for. I'd swear that I'd only played 30 minutes a day maximum on a couple of days since I got it on Sunday, but apparently I'm at 6 hours already. Erk.
No problem, I figured after you dropped out again that you'd have a less frustrating time on your own. I managed to take down the four assassins and meet those bonus objectives, though the guy we were on when you dropped out killed me a couple of times first.I just found out how to see how long I've been playing for. It really is a time sink, much like an mmo where you say to yourself that you'll finish off the quest and leave it, then convince yourself to do another in the area, before you know it the hours have flown by.
