Normally I'd say order from SimplyGames, but they don't have the Nuketown pre-order bonus, so go with ShopTo instead. Although the chances of this selling out in the shops are minimal.
Thanks for this Steve, and are shop to reliable to deliver on the day?? (forgive me as I have only just started using amazon, so have a slight nervousness about buying online sometimes).

Really? Dry-shaving my testicles with a rusty knife looks a lot more appealing than MoH.
Each to their own, but I played through the MoH:Warfighter campaign and quite enjoyed it.

Yes, it's not revolutionary and, yes, it doesn't really move matters on much from the previous instalment - or any other recent FPS for that matter. But it's a decent story, solidly (but no more than that) executed and no better nor no worse than a load of other recent FPS games. It didn't deserve the slating it got from a lot of reviewers.

It will be interesting to see whether the same reviewers fawn over BlOps 2 despite that fact that (based on recent CoD games) it is unlikely to be much different in execution to its recent predecessors, rather than criticising it for being derivative and uninspired.

I haven't played the MP much - but then I'm not really an MP gamer. I don't have the interest or ability to stick with them.

They are yes, normally ShopTo get the games out a day early, but Activision like to play hardball with CoD, so whilst you might get it on Monday, they might make the post office hold onto the copies until Tuesday morning's delivery.

For other games, SimplyGames tend to just send them out as soon as they come into stock, I got Assassin's Creed 3 four days early and a friend got his copy of Halo 4 on Saturday, so that's three days early.

Interesting change to create a class. Basically each class has 10 'points' to spend, you then choose how you spend these. Meaning you can have multiple perks if you want, but at the cost of attachments on your gun(s). Lots of different combinations, also the ability to fit a 3rd attachment to your primary weapon.

Perk 1
Lightweight
Flak Jacket
Blind Eye
Hardline
Ghost - Interestingly only works if moving, you show up if static (camping)

Perk 2
Hardwired
Scavenger
Cold Blooded
Fast Hands
Toughness

Perk 3
Dexterity
Engineer
Dead Silence
Extreme Conditioning
Tactical Mask
Awareness

WILDCARDS (use one additional point except GREED which uses 3!!)
Primary Gunfighter - 3rd attachment on primary weapon
Secondary Gunfighter - 2nd attachment on secondary weapon
Overkill - Primary weapon as a secondary
Perk 1 Greed - Extra Perk 1
Perk 2 Greed - Extra Perk 2
Perk 3 Greed - Extra Perk 3
Danger Close - 2nd lethal equipment
Tactician - Swaps your lethal for a 2nd Tactical.

The crossbow now becomes a launcher, but no over and under shotgun or python frown

From that list it looks like there may be no Pro perks. They really should just get rid of Ghost & quite disappointed to see Toughness in there too. Bring back Stopping Power I say! As usual it all seems little complicated at first but I'm sure it won't take long to used to it all. Any info on Kill Streaks?

but what about us camping snipers, seems a bit silly you are invisible while running round full speed with a smg, but if your inside with a sniper a nice big glowing dot for people to follow.

will probably just play hardcore for the most part. i cant play core now after joining the ph lot, people just dont die, i used to be good at ground war but i cant go back from hardcore.

also whats the detail with with nuketown map? some pre orders come with it some dont. so if you buy it without it, you have to buy it presumably for a massive fee from psn. i hate day one DLC.

No Pro Perks but like the fact Ghost doesn't work if your camping.

Kill Streaks are now based on points rather than Killstreaks and renamed Scorestreaks.

RC-XD - 325
UAV - 375
Hunter Killer - 400 (Hunter drone seeks nearest enemy or vehicle)
Care Package - 450
Counter UAV - 475
Gaurdian - 500 (Microwave projector that stuns enemies)
Hellstorm Missile - 525 (Similar to Predator but 5 warheads that can spread)
Lightening Strike - 550 (Similar to Mortar Strike)
Death Machine - 600 (Lasts until out of ammo, even if killed it comes back with remaining ammo)
Sentry Gun - 600 (Switchable between free fire and remote)
War Machine - 700 (Grenade launcher version of Death Machine)
Dragonfire - 725 (Small quadrotor LMG Drone - can easily be shot down with small arms)
AGR - 800 (Ground robot with HMG and Launcher - Think Robocop ED209 but smaller)
Stealth Chopper - 850
Orbital VSAT - 900 (Blackbird / Advanced UAV)
Escort Drone - 1000 (advanced version of the AH6 Overwatch)
Warthog - 1025 (A10 Thunderbolt doing numerous strafe runs)
EMP Systems - 1050
Lodestar - 1150 (Multiple Airbourne missile launcher)

What about you camping snipers? You are generally reviled and boring, that's what.

clap sidaorb. Seems quite allot of kill/point streaks, no more than MW3 tho.

Paul has a valid point. Unfortunately though, snipers who do play that way (as in proper snipering) are the minority due to them pesky quick scoping arse wipes boxedin.

The majority of corner campers are not always good players anyway, they're nothing a noob or grenade can't fix. It's the very good players/campers who have that patience to kill and move much smarter than the average bear that are difficult buggers. Naa, Ghost is always overpowered... get rid.

Fingers crossed they also get rid of them HC playlists too... wimps wink

ALSO. I hear some people are paying premium money to get the game early. Would you really bother??

There won't be any quick-scoping this time around, they've scuppered all of the mechanisms to make it as difficult as possible. It seems that Infinity Ward are in favour of the method, but Treyarch have recognised that it's naff and are doing their best to disable it.

from what ive noticed from gameplay vids. may just be me, but its seems fire rate is increased and bullet damage dropped slightly
apart from the snipers and the odd big gun, the video on the boat, the smgs seem to rapid fire like mad but take a good few shots to drop someone.

they better do something about noob tubes in hardcore though. mw2 was terrible because of it, mw3 is almost as bad but because it doesnt affect gay core nobody seemed to care

Steve I don't think thats true mate. I'm sure quick scoping is fine, might not have the Sleight of Hand Pro (quick ADS) but from I've seen there is no issues that. I do like what they've done with the bullets shot from a sniper rifle (trails).

@sidaorb Yeh you're right. They should sell 2 separate versions. 1 that has a pink case for those that aren't keen on moving much or playing objectives & a one with a black case for people who have hairy chests smile

I'm going to stop these HC battles... I never win boxedin

What I've read about the quickscoping is that they've setup the sniper rifles so that:

There is no way to reduce recoil on a Blops2 Sniper.
There is no way to add quickdraw to a Blops2 Sniper.
There is no way to add a baby monitor to a Blops2 Sniper.

So whilst it may still be possible, they've done their best to mitigate it, rather than encourage it a-la MW3.

Just playing my copy of World at War which I got free with my BO2 pre-order. Forgotten how bad it was. Every map rewards people sitting in corners pointing at the door, the artillery is a joke and you can get sniped from across the map with pistols.

Wasn't going to get this.. but now I am trading in Forza Horizon for it. It genuinely looks pretty good.

And the advert has this guy in it;
