Elite: Dangerous
Discussion
Too warm this evening to really try anything out, flew back to home base and purchased the Krait and transferred all the modules from my Chieftain to it (wasn't going to mess up my Python) doesn't matter about the class 6 PP or the class 6 PD they are engineered anyway so better than standard 7A modules.
Not too bad, Chieftain's modules weren't all maxxed out. With 6D fuel scoop and 1 empty class 3 module.
Shields
Armour/integrity
With the good look down visibility will make a good planet mission runner. Probably sell the Chieftain now.
Forgot to add the Chieftain specs using the same modules I put in the Krait, the Krait performs better with them.

Stupid question what size fighter bay? Does a 6D enable two SLFs at once? Do I need to hire one or two extra crew?
You can only deploy one at once, but the bigger bay allows you two stock multiple types, and you can be printing one while flying one, so it speeds things up if you're in the habit of getting them blown up.Looking forward to getting back to civilisation in a few months to try the Krait out, I can see myself spending a bit of time flying it with the ability to carry an SLF. Still a bit frustrating to see that some missions remain broken such as pirate hunt missions which I must of bug reported about 2 years ago. I'm also not looking forward to the prospect of re-engineering all my ships though I'm stopping off at planets every so often to gather materials in preparation and it helps to break up the supercruise scanning and chain-jumping.
Only another 51k light years to go, minus any detours.

Irony, bought a Krait and stripped all the engineered modules from my Python to try it out. Have promptly jumped back in my Python filled it with D rate modules and cargo racks to hit the industry cargo run gold rush'
Whats this gold rush? Are we at the 200mil/h level yet?Has been nerfed already. Was way more than 100mil an hour. I got about 150 in 20 min. Had to log off and when I got back on last night back to normal.
It was go get x tonnes of gold/palladium/tantalium for up to 50mil a mission reward at industrial systems.
Never saw x be greater than 81.
Few board flips and you were laughing. Gutted I had to go out as few people made billions.

It does piss me off that FDev leap onto any money makers instantly and leave actual bugs for months(years)
I often can only play on the weekends so although I got an hour and a bit of the well paying supply missions this time and made back the price of the Krait+fitout that was all. Four hundred hours into this game and I was hoping I could finally aim for one of the big three, no such luck
People who could play straight after the patche made a literal billion. I really don't understand the logic, all FDev achieves in making these lightning nerfs is annoy practically the entire playerbase.
Anyway enough ranting, FLK that's a flipping incredible trek, when you're back near the bubble maybe we should have a P/H honor guard to accompany you the last kilolight or so.

If you have 2, you can have a friend fly one whilst your NPC pilot flies another.
Dropped into a HazRez near this weeks CG and opened the multicrew seats, they both got filled in less than a minute and jumped in the SLFs. Then spent a very fun half hour with the two SLF and my Krait carving through pirates (Those two extra pips from the multicrew were really nice too) . A few dropouts in connection due to one pilot being in Canada but still a good laugh. My Potato NPC hasn't had the chance to do anything yet. However aggravating E: D is at times it really can deliver serious fun.

Not played in a couple of years probably, definitely before Engineers. Only managed to get up to a Cobra too. Worth getting back into? Are there tutorials for Engineers or that?
I imagine you've a lot of new stuff to see. Guardians, Thargoids, Planetary landings (if you buy Horizons, which you should, right now as it's on sale 40% discount for £11 on steam)Engineers maybe someone will be able to post a guide but the stats and requirements are here
Basically unlock each engineer with certain quests (some are fun some are annoying) then bring them materials to massively upgrade your ship.
