Every time I log in with a mate to play (who has Horizons only) I have to re enter my key bindings several times as they just won’t work. Driving me nuts! I find Odyssey a much sturdier and more refined game although I haven’t stepped foot on a planet for several months now…
Do you use a unique name for your keybinds? Making a whole new .binds file has meant I've never lost mine.FourWheelDrift said:
Other than starting it up last month to change graphics settings and see FPS in the hangar for my upgraded PC the last time I flew anywhere was 30th Nov 2019.
I think it was the fun squadron activities that kept me playing mainly. I've probably spent as much time hitching around the galaxy on friend's carriers as I have flying the last year.Update 6 now out witblh some promising fixes and features. AMD super resolution now implemented and nicer looking planets I'm actually a bit tempted to get Odyssey.

Anyone figured out how to do Group Passenger missions?
Finally got my gaming partner to upgrade to Odyssey, fit out his Python with pax cabins and trundle over to my location to try to earn some big coin only for the group missions to still be locked. Can't work it out.
Wing missions should be able to be shared through the mission panel on the left once you're winged up. Although I must admit I've never done a wing passenger mission. Cargo and Massacre are more fun and/or profitable :-)Finally got my gaming partner to upgrade to Odyssey, fit out his Python with pax cabins and trundle over to my location to try to earn some big coin only for the group missions to still be locked. Robigo is still the place for maximum passenger profits.

tis where I'm at. Winged up but group missions won't work strangely.
When you accepted the missions did they have the little blue three dot triangly wing mission symbol? You can probably still see it in the left panel mission summary.Maybe try a more common wing delivery or massacre mission together? This is a useful tool for finding the best paying systems for combat.

Odyssey definately taking the space screenshot simulator to the next level, from Reddit.

A couple of things if you're just starting out at Odyssey The grind to upgrade suits and weapons can be soul destroying...hopefully this will help you not waste so much time.
Find somehwere selling the item you want pre upgraded to G3, the time spent looking will more than likely be quicker than upgrading it yourself. shop inventories are random and reset on a thursday
Download as much data as you can, collect everything. You can check on INARA.CZ if it's useful before you sell it.
Manufacturing instructions aren't that hard to get as mission rewards but you need loads, you can filter the mission screen by material rewards.
Power regulators can be obtained by powering down settlements, or taking missions to power them up and not doing it.
Some stuff you need to unlock engineers never appears as a mission reward, Settlement defence plans in particular are ridiculously hard to get. In security data ports(rarely) irregular markers, look for one with a crashed skimmer with a data port, occasional missions to steal them, just do it and abandon the mission
Opinion polls and smear campaign plans. In habitat data ports but only in certain systems, I got mine at Mitchell something or other in Iah Bulu
It says you need to do six covert heists or thefts to unlock another engineer, there was a bug which meant only covert heists counted, as far as I know it isn't fixed yet so concentrate on heists.
Game runs fine most of the time on my ten year old potato, but occasionally I hit a small area where the frame rate drops to a slideshow... still needs optimisation.

You can trade some stuff at bartenders like chemicals or electrionics (why bartenders I don't know) But there's no trader for goods or data, it's often data that's the sticking point.
Suit and weapon scematics and gases for weapon upgrades can be a pain until you figure which buildings have them, you can check INARA for that, but they do come up as mission rewards.

So odd that they ditched the roundly applauded inprovements to ship based materials trading they brought in a couple of years ago to revert back to untradeable ones. I've heard you can exchange items with other players though? So maybe that's a plus point if you're in a healthy squadron.Wayoftheflower said:

yeah I have got stuff from other players, I have had hard won stuff fall through the floor when I dropped it though, although it's often still collectible if you can find it, be careful where you drop it.And be sure you have room in your backpack for it if there's a stack of more than one, the extras will disappear.
