Might be because the marketing deal is with Microsoft so all footage and screenshots so far have been Xbox One. We have to wait until later this week to see footage from PS4 / PC I believe
A comment from one of the alpha testers was that he'd be playing it on the PC (it appears the X-Box is limited to 30fps and can visibly slow down when there are a lot of NPCs on screen).

Just applied for my refund.
Why?
Pretty much the reasons others have stated. Appears to be a huge climbdown from what was suggested originally. Also pc review are still under NDA which is completely bizarre and doesn't bode well.

I suspect it's more likely they don't want to put off X-Box owners.

From what I've read it seems to be more of a 3D Action shooter RPG rather than a 3d co-op action third person shooter, if you get my meaning? Focuses more on story elements rather than out and out action. I'm in the beta at the end of the month so will see how it feels and plays before ordering as I haven't done so yet.

Anyone wanting a FPS style shooter experience won't get it from this game by the looks of it.

I briefly played the Alpha and it was fun, but I can't really see longevity in the game.. and the dark zone pvp isn't brilliant.

Yea Destiny meets Tom Clancy it seems. Very spongey enemies and a focus on levelling skills and weapons.

Just received an invite to the closed Beta, looking forward to seeing if it lives up to the hype and becomes the next destiny for me.

It sounds like there might be some deep, deep flaws in the gunplay.

Hmm, doesn't seem yet like it is the game we were all expecting, I shall await the opinions of those in the know.

The Beta isn't under any NDA so there will be videos, screenies and streams galore. If you want in there's a sign up for Beta option or a key is less than £1 from kinguin. try before you buy? It should be noted that these keys aren't being sold by Ubisoft directly.

Does anyone know if pre ordering from PSN, installing beta, then cancelling pre order will work? Read a couple of post of people having to contact contact Sony to cancel instead of being able to do it via their Playstations.

Try Shopto, dude. They don't take any payment until dispatch and the order can be cancelled at any point up till then. Pay with PayPal if concerned by their previous problems. Once pre-ordered, you can log into your account for the beta code.

I was concerned by this game as the focus seems to be more on RPG than shooting. However, a few Youtubers that I "respect" (rather, seem to like the same kinda games I do) have given it a solid thumbs up. Not concerned by some enemies being bullet sponges. That's always the case when using under-levelled kit in RPG-esque games.

Cheers Singh. Had no problems with shopto in the past.

Pre-ordered, pressed "activate beta" tab and was met with:

"WARNING
Please note by accepting this code you are committing to purchase and will no longer be able to cancel your pre-order.

Do you wish to continue with the activation?".............so cancelled.

Would have liked to have played the beta this weekend, but don't want to commit to buying in case it's a load of old rubbish.

Nice one! I Assumed amazon would have the same caveat.

Pre ordered, got the beta key, now just waiting for the access code.
