I can't see how at this early stage anyone can say that a game is going to be better than another game. That's just marketing hype and Microsoft desperately trying to get a piece of the GT4 pie.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it will be good, but I think it's a big mistake to trumpet a game as being better than "x" when it's not even near to a release yet.

I've read that they are having frame rate problems. The developers are quite happy they have got consistent "high 20s" at the moment which for a racing game is pitiful. PG2 only made 30fps and IMHO wasn't anywhere near the game it should have been because of it.

So at this early stage it looks like GT4 will be the better of the two.

If you use BitTorrent there's a Forza OXM demo on there at the moment (was posted Sunday 5th December).

I really wanted this game to be great but sadly there's just too many little irks in there. The sub 30fps is one thing, there are only 3 AI cars, the scenery seems bland and the colours are washed out, the handling is OK. On the plus side the AI seem quick and actually want to overtake me and the engine sounds are good.
