Just got this game today for the PC. First time played game of this type and am stuck even on the training. How the bl00dy hell do you set off the charges when trying to blow up the cars. I can plant them (more by luck than knowing what key to press) but cannot get them to go off.
Any help would be appreciated.

Ok.. just bought it and my 3.06gig geforce4 440se 128mb puter wont even start the damn thing?!?
Upgraded to 9.0c directx but comes up with a message saying that only 8.1 fully supported cards are accepted.

Now what? have I wasted 30quid or should I now waste another 100 to upgrade my graphics card?

annoyed and frustrated

Lot easier to play them with the manual, ah the joys of copying games

What the heck is a T&L enabled graphics card anyway? It says that it has been tested with certain cards but others will likly run with it.

Bought the game, read the manual, pressed all the keys on the keyboard concentrating especially on the ones listed in the manual but not limited to those and still the effing thing won't go off.

If it's the same keys as the rest of the MoH games(chances are it is), then to select the bomb, scroll through your weapons. To set the bomb, press and hold the use key(default E)for about 5 secs. A timer will appear next to the compass. That will tell you when it is set and how long you have to get away.

Hope this helps. Simon.

I would expect it to work with your card.... Try going to the Nvidia website and download the latest driver for your card - that might sort it.

Sometimes it's amazing the difference new drivers for a GFX card can make even in games that already work!

My friend brought round a copy to try on Wednesday and we installed it onto a similar machine as yours. The spec was:

Pentium 3.06GHz Hyperthreading
1 Gigabyte PC2700 Ram
SATA ATA hardidsk with 16meg cache
Nvidia 256Meg 5700 Pro
DirectX 9C
Latest drivers for all and all Windoze patches upto date.

The graphics though absolutely amazing (the beginning scene where you are in a boat and have to gun down everything along the pier and in the water), were REALLY choppy

We tried everything from uninstalling /re-installing drivers to changing graphic cards (Radeon 9800XT) and still the same problem.

It has me thinking there is something wrong with my system, but this machine is part of the games network machines (four off) and it plays UT2004, Wolfenstein, HL2 and Doom3 (which is the hardest game of all to play) with no problems.

This game looks totally awesome (including what happens when you die - scary!) but it is ruined by the gameplay.

If anyone has any recomendations, please let me know

Call of Duty, without a shadow of a doubt, it now has the expansion pack, United Offensive,, the graphics (and blood!) are a lot better than MoH,, all IMOHO of course
