Before I logged off last night I ran some level 28 dragon strikes and level 28 PoE.
Strikes with randoms are still a painful affair. I can understand speed running strikes, I do it myself on the low level ones for bounties, but surely you would want to participate on the highest level. That's the whole point IMO.
PoE was much better, with the game practically forcing you to work together.
But (and it's a big BUT), you better be on your toes after the final round. After every one last night, it was a speed run to the last chest and nobody waited until everyone was there. First there opened a chest starting the 30 second countdown, irrespective where the other 2 players were. If you died on the way down you'd be fked.
Still can't see why they can't give us solo playlists in this game.

I understand what you are saying..., but what sort of idiot would fall down and die getting to the treasure room??Strikes with randoms are still a painful affair. Raises hand!! That things tougher than the jumping puzzle!Got Her Courtesy, the Queens Wrath solar shotgun earlier and have been pretty impressed with it.
Spent a few motes on about 12 helmet engrams from xur too. Now have all the new exotic helmets. Can't wait to fully upgrade a few.

Got PoE level 35 cracked last night. Unfortunately Gav had to go as it was late when we got to Skolas, but Tom and myself found a replacement.
First three rounds were straightforward and felt easier than some of the level 34 rounds.
Round 4 was by far the hardest by a big margin. Fallen, special weapon buff, arc damage and eliminate the target. Incredibly tough. Those major captains are hard as nails and are so quick to run off and recover.
Gav and Tom were warlocks and I was a hunter, so we got to Skolas without a titans bubble. It's certainly doable with good teamwork.
And 3 x Gjallahorn, 3 x 14 rockets = 1 very dead boss, very quickly. First go

Nicely done chief.
I noted a couple of things last night.
1) there's a new modifier called "small arms"
2) you can do the daily mission without meaning to do it. Running wolves missions with Jimmy, and when we'd finished I'd apparently done the daily.
It was at level 32; but I don't know if it applied the modifiers. I did wonder why one had better rewards.

Well done tank tom and...?
Did you get any good drops?
Do you think its feasible to do skolas "properly" without using a massive gjallarhorn splurge at the start?
Mr E - I found the same thing the other day. I did the last story mission and when I completed it it filled in the daily mission too.
Big thanks to morphies and lewmacfeegle to run the 28 with me. I got to see the scrooge McDuck loot cave and dropped the queens sniper rifle.
