Mr E, 365 is ok up until the last boss fight.
Mast - sounds like an excellent run at 1 hour. Did you get the emblem and the exotic engram out of the cube?
Just realised you main a warlock (as do I) so I may not be able to help with the engine steps. Once you have completed it you can get spare engines from shiro so that you can help other people.
Its a great quest and IMHO the best one bungie have done.

Yeah, we got the exotic and the emblem. I'm finishing the quest out with Lew and Glenn, Lew has had the engine on one character for over a week and picked it up on another character last night, I think we're going to do the bulk of the quest tonight and run the raid again tomorrow for fresh drops and to complete the quest at least on our first characters.
I just need that bloody Thorn quest to start now!

I had the thorn bounty last night. What fun that's going to be. What time is everyone on as I don't often see many from PH on apart from the odd few I have been online with
I'm very jealous!Helped Rich finish his Iron Banner last night and got a full team in (to stealth complete part of the Outbreak Prime quest)..... with a full team of 6 we managed to Mercy 5 consecutive games and won every game we played. It really is a much more enjoyable experience with a full/nearly full team.
Has anyone completed hard mode yet?
Anyone up for a run at it tonight - probably starting at 9 though!?
Edit - the raid machine gun looks beastly for bosses - it has the "double-triple tap" perk that allows it to pull from the ammo reserve. The raid scout rifle has this and it allows you to fire 44 shots before reloading...out of a magazine size of 16! I haven't seen any videos yet but you may well be able to fire your entire heavy ammo in one trigger pull...

Well I got *really* well acquainted with the first five minutes of the hard mode vosik fight....repeated it for around an hour!
It's genuinely pretty tough and the team of 6 wanted to use different strats which didn't work so well.
The challenge is balancing the risks between getting 6 bombs off in sync, versus trying to clear out the ever-spawning adds.
One method (which I don't think works) is just grabbing the bombs and throwing as soon as they drop. This minimises the amount of time where adds aren't being killed but it means the bombs arent in sync and you can end up with very little damage to the shield.
The second method (which I think works but requires everyone working to the same schedule) is that you spend a little longer (like 2-3 seconds) clearing adds and the furthest bomb thrower runs back to the back of the room before throwing. This minimises deaths but makes the timing on the monitors slightly tighter.
Quite a few of our runs, someone was throwing their bomb pretty quickly and then the "damage boost" phase of the bombs ends and even if you then throw 4 or 5 together, they don't get the damage boost again.
Sliding under doors is cool though.
