2 or 3.....easy when you're making around 40k per mission.

Tell me more, I don't know what this VIP stuff is about other than trolling bodyguards
Just join in on one of the crew lobbies and join someone as a bodyguard, you'll soon get an idea

I've not been on much since switching to PS4, I've done a few heists but they don't seen to pay out too well (especially when trying to complete with randoms and they take ages). What is the best way to grind for cash at he moment? Rooftop rumble & field of screems were what I remember doing on the PS3
Check your daily objectives, these are worth 25k if you complete all 3. VIP is easy money, you need 1 million in the bank to qualify, register and name your organisation via the quick menu.
Do sight seeer, this nets you ,23k and can be repeated about every 4 minutes, in that time you can do a easy contact mission and repeat. If a VIP hires you as a body guard you get 5k every 12 mins, plus the same payouts on VIP missions.

.. those were the days!

.. if anyone can do a quick GTA vehicle capture with me if they see an invite at any point i need it for a daily... beer
I saw your invite earlier for field of screams but was in middle of sightseer, sorry.

Mr Oversteer, best thing to grind right now is the VIP stuff. I've made a cool 700k from that in a few hours this afternoon. It's good to grind VIP anyway but with double money at the moment it's a no brainer
no worries, all done now, noelly joined one!

now to VIP $$$

Are there any plans for a racing session tomorrow evening?

Midfield muscle cars. Ruiner, Gauntlet, Tampa and some other ones.

Ran VIP stuff on my own for about an hour this morning and $250k an hour seems to be easily achievable. Which means you should be able to make ~$1mill per VIP session until the 11th smile.

Gauntlet, tampa, phoenix, stallion, sabre turbo and ruiner all lapped cutting corners between 1.12-1.11 so it should be pretty close racing.

Any mods you want, however the tracks won't be long ones think along the lines of brands hatch indy not spa.

I'll start sending invites at 7.30 and aim to race at 8 at the latest , however if all the usual suspects are ready to race earlier then we will.

surprisingly close racing again tonight!

the tampa has a decent turning circle i think! - the thing that let it down was the human controlling it.. (me and eased!)

laugh

... we should also have a CheshireCowboy "complaint" drinking game.... down your drink every time he complains someone hit him! laugh

I like to think of you and i as trend setters not sheep just following the broughy herd and going for a ruiner/gauntlet;)

Excellent racing last night, nice to see so many different cars all performing with similar times rather than everyone using the same one.

Some videos:
Race 1, excellent last lap chase with Joyrider, Panson and myself. Oh, and the big pile up at the start!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pALPJgx3OAQ

Race 2, after working through the pack to the front I thought I had it in the bag after getting a huge lead. A crash near the Casino soon ate that lead away, then another lamp post lost me a few more places, and finally losing another 2 on the very last corner/straight!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tPAfjp_rgKY

Race 3, started right near the back, enjoyed working through the grid!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tPAfjp_rgKY

Race 4, everything just kept going wrong! Big crash near the start that took out loads of us, then every time I made a few places, Id get spun or crash myself. The post at 3:01 annoyed me! Especially as I was just recovering and got hit (well I was in the middle of the track) just about to get going and was hit a 2nd time.
The corner just after 2:25 is where Cheshire asked how I got such a good run past them both on the straight biggrin

Race 5, I really enjoyed this, I was clipped at the start and hit a big post which spun me out and left me in last place before even the first corner. Through some luck (a lot of luck at 0:45!) and other people crashing I managed to get back to 3rd, then a good battle for a few laps with Challenger until he lifted and let me past for 1st as his front bumper was causing issues catching on the road. Nice overtake at 2:30! biggrin

Race 6, not too eventful, Jobbo caught me and got past for the win smile

Unfortunately I forgot to record the last race in the Bullet's

Not trying to be an ahole but you can come across as whingey when we're racing.

What are we racing this weekend? If I can actually get on to race this week that is.

I'm going to make another couple of rally tracks but we don't have to run them in the rally cars. Joyrider, Panda and I did Observatory Hill in muscle cars yesterday and it was good.

There was some talk of sports classics so we can use the valentines update car or supers so we can race these banshee/sultans.
.
If we limited it to adder, sultan, banshee, vacca and cheetah then there all lapping cutting corners between 1.04-1.05 so should have pretty close racing

The second race I was in the right place at the right time to profit from your misfortune, though had you not had the coming toghether with the lampost I don't know if I'd have past you.

The crash in the 4th race (3:01) I was the second hit...sorry. paperbag

Since the Valentine's DLC is supposed to launch on the 12th (this coming Friday), I suggested Sports Classics so we could do something with the new Valor. Maybe make it a 'Classic Albany' night, so we can use Roosevelt, Valor, Franken Stange and as the cheap option, Mañana?
