I'm having a great time playing the asymmetrics with the Georgia. Hang around for a couple of minutes and wait to see which way the bots are going, then use the old girl's frightening speed to flank around behind them.

Shikishima is my favourite for the asymmetric battles - just cruise around at 1/4 throttle and drop huge shells on things while the secondaries eat destroyers.

In Ranked you can't go wrong with Incomprable... it's essentially a 40kt light cruiser with ridiculously big guns, a 10km concealment, torpedoes and hydro.

Strange to pull this move with such little notice, and a shame - although some times toxic, the WOWS forum was an absolute treasure trove of knowledge, reviews and assistance.

On the one hand the forums (EU) are now relatively quiet, partly because ..

On the other hand Wargaming.net infamously stopped looking at the forums years ago to avoid negative feedback.

I mean - I've used Discord before but just 5 minutes on the WoWs Discord & I am left shaking my head.

Someone had posted on the forum shutdown thread this comparison which sort of sums up my view as well . . .

Yeah sorry I will get back into it at some point. Baldurs Gate and Starfield are absolutely smashing my game time at the moment.

Got to admit these days I log in to get the daily gift, then may play till I have the first crate, but that is it. Too many CVs, subs, BB based CVs.

Had a few 3 sub each side batles - and once was tier 10

Are you encountering this in randoms?

I tend to only play ranked, or randoms but stick to T5 and below.

All my ships are tier 8 or above, and I have no new trees to follow (aside from subs and CVs). I do occasionally play tier 5 ships, but then I keep finding seal clubbing CVs

I'm on the verge of taking a break from the game.
I don't think I had a single enjoyable game over the weekend.

The main issue for me is the match making. As mentioned before,, the 1 cv and 2 subs pretty much every game. Also, the majority of games I'm bottom tier.

That's why I pretty much only play ranked or brawls now

Am actually pretty decent in a sub and just hate playing against CV clubbers.

I don't actually hate either subs or CV, just don't enjoy playing as them.

I miss the CV rts days though!
