Anyone know where to download the game client if you've purchased the pre-order?
I assume you in the UK? Then go to... worldofwarships.eu
...and make sure you've logged into your account. They'll be a large "Download Game" button in the middle of the screen.
edit: Nearly 20GB of download, meh looks like it will take a while on my broadband
Anyone wanting to have replays, there's a guide here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hGBqvNWBkBc
I tested it and it works OK.
It creates a replays folder for you, like World of Tanks, so you don't need to manually do that.

Really addictive game even though it's just beta phase.
Doing Random battles at the moment but keep losing as most of the time there's no teamwork...
Is there any point in Co-op battles (against bots)?
Any tips on aiming? I guess upgrades matter a lot when aiming? I'm currently playing mostly on my Tier IV Wyoming battleship.

Use the graduated scale | | | | O | | | | on zoom view to lead the shots, use a ranging shot to estimate that lead, try to shoot head on targets
Against fast ships maybe better to fire shots in sequence rather than a killer broadside
Use HA & AP as appproriate
Problem with BBs is the sloooow reload & traverse times, often quicker to steer the ship than swing the turrets

I'll turn that round and say is there any point in random battles, other than you get more credits and XP? I play against "humans" sometimes, but there's way too many ships on each side to influence the battle and little enjoyment in it. I'm burnt out by all the retards who play world of tanks though, so don't mind me.Doing Random battles at the moment but keep losing as most of the time there's no teamwork...

Upgrades will only effect things like reload speed and range, not your aim.
Accuracy just comes with experience. You need to know the distance to the target and adjust the lead for their bearing and speed. You can either press Alt to see the distance flash up, or do the trick I mentioned on page 1 to have this information up all the time. Try not to shoot a ship that's pointed right at you or the shells will mostly all miss.
Shoot Japanese battleships in the superstructure, not the hull, You'll do more damage there I find.
They keep releasing small patches at the moment. There was another one today on the US server (tomorrow on EU).

They needed to do something about the number of fires. It was just ridiculous.
Anyhoo, I've just got the Nagato, the tier 7 Japanese battleship:
One thing I've found by accident is that the game plays best with cheesy 80s music in the background. Maybe the BPM suits the DPM, if you know what I mean. Playing a Japanese Battleship with Alphaville's "Big In Japan" is pretty damn cool. You feel like a god.

I've… seen things you people wouldn't believe… Langleys on fire off the shoulder of those icebergs. I watched AA-beams glitter in the dark near the tropical islands. All those… moments… will be lost in time, like tears… in… rain. Time… to sink…......
Sounds like it's going into open beta soon. An account wipe for closed beta testers will coincide with that, so that everyone has the same starting point. They haven't given a specific date yet, they're just letting everybody know now.
Participants who have played at least 50 battles (human vs bot games count) in the closed beta will get a few perks however:
1) A free premium tier 4 battleship, the USS Arkansas. She's a Wyoming class, which is the current tier four American battleship and I have to say, a very decent ship.
2) Two free commanders with unlocked skill points on the American and Japanese tier I ships. The amount of available skill points is based on how many games you've played.
3) Account level and signal flags will be given to you based on your number of battles.
