Yeah, I'd like to do more than one a week too. I can't set them up to run concurrently but, if you wanted to start another PS4 league that has events every few days, I'd be up for that thumbup

I'm keen to do some more, one every 3/4 days would be pretty good I think!

2 more stages done, not good!

An almost 100% repaired car lined up for the night stage, all rendered irrelevant by a big moment early on that ended up with me off the side of the track and trying to drive back up a cliff for some time whilst I tried to find what the 'recover' button was on my wheel getmecoat This also broke some headlights, so I was seemingly on dipped beam for the rest of the stage, finished a total of 1:20 off the pace which puts an early reservation on the wooden spoon for me!

A bit to make up in the next stage then, was going OK, not fast but managed to avoid any serious incident, then completely caught out by the last corner, the driver crossing his arms as the car rolled onto its roof was accompanied by the co-driver's "and finish" rather annoyingly! So I finished that one a good 47 seconds off the pace too I think.

I shall be mounting a charge (with ensuing crashes) over the next 2 stages, prepare yourselves! hehe

So the charge was on, 2 decent stages with only minor mistakes, first of the 2 finished about 4.7 seconds off the pace, so gained a little time on xRIEx, and headed in to the next stage with the momentum behind me...

Next stage drove like a dream, although a mishap that saw the tail smash into a wall I feared meant a puncture but I luckily survived. After that the rhythm was lost and I got a bit scrappy, ultimately finishing 7 seconds off the pace, but drawing off the bottom spot, and ending within 0.2 of xRIEx! Next time wink

I will try this afternoon, but when it comes to stuff like this im a bit like my nan trying to make a phonecall from her vcr.

Suggestions please for a ps4 series style, slow and precise ie 70's or 80's or crazy mental group 4/modern day?

Done 2 stages, I assume this is the standing for PC users...

Not great but not bad for my first attempt with a 360 pad, made it without totalling the car at least, Kathodo is brutal ...

Now I'm not the best at driving games but not the worst. This game, such as Project Cars is just bloody frustrating. Why cant they make a game where you don't have to spend 4 years fannying around with controller settings, just one shop fits all? Only got this yesterday and I do love the challenge, first stage complete with a few rolls but I've learnt to not drive GTA style and on 2nd stage at Montecarlo was blitzing along then someone has parked a car in the driving line on a blind left hander, wtf? Then there is the fact I am a bit crap so need assists such as TC and Stability. at 0 the car is undrivable, at 1, the car becomes a nervous wreck every time you hit a hairpin, hand brake and it just sits there having an eppy as all the aids cut in, at level 2 you can go in a straight line but turning is the equivalent of trying to steer an oil tanker. How, just how do you guys get good at this?

Turn all of the driving aids off, use manual sequential box and drive slowly. Increase pace gradually smile

My thought is a main league in synch with each platform but a few other leagues which either are or arent synched as a bit of fun.
Will delete my league if causes an issue but i would prefer lots of leagues so i never run out of multiplayer leagues with a main one which REALLY matters

Info here, we're starting at 'Event 2'. All the same details, except Stage Retry and Event Restart, which should be turned off. I will be starting a new league with same deets after Event 1 to turn those retry options off.

Excellent thumbup

I shall sign up today but, I'm away for the weekend so won't have be able to have a go until Monday/Tuesday.

So, each of the 7 events (each with 6 stages) runs for 5 days, right? Good. I won't miss out on the first one.....I wonder how much James will win by?? hehe

A wheel helps massively but, I appreciate that they are an expensive peripheral if you're just a casual gamer. Honestly, turning off the assists and some practice should make a HUGE difference but, some of the controller guys may be able to give you some helpful tips on settings etc. Make no mistake though, this is not supposed to be an easy game. The frustration and the ease with which it can all go horribly wrong is actually a big part of the appeal, for me at least. drivingmadbangheadthumbup

PS. if there was a car parked on the line you were taking, it probably wasn't the racing line

If the co-driver says "don't cut" or "keep out", especially on Monte Carlo or Germany, listen to him.

No season configured. In the league setup, each event must be within a certain timeframe. A later event must be set to start at least 30 minutes later than the previous one finishes, otherwise they won't save. Beyond that, it is just click and select. It's pretty clunky if I'm honest, but also loads better than when it first was available!

Best advice until you get the hang of the interface and it's foibles, is to create a season with how many events you want, ensure starting time is a good few hours ahead of current time, set a single event up and then save the league. Then go back in and edit the league for each event in turn. This way if it doesn't save for whatever reason, you won't lose all of the events in one go! [/bitterexperience]
