New one is out in a month, talk about adding different handling modes (gamer & simulation) should be lots of fun along with more licensed tracks/cars. Apparently not much in the way of current WRC cars though

Hi all,

Fingers crossed I'll be at the launch for DiRT 4 tomorrow. Anything you want to know for a review ahead of the game release?

I'd like to know if the simulation handling is as per Dirt, which I thought was fantastic. :-)

You jammy sod.

As for the handling, there is 'game' and 'sim' models; apparently the sim one has been improved somewhat too.

Hopefully they have sorted the way the cars react to the humps and bumps, especially on the edge of the stages. Had a massive end over end flip a while ago, after hitting a split time board!

Reminded me, getting to the end of a long stage on the Thousand Lakes where pretty much everything had gone perfectly in the Cooper S, no grovels in the ditch, long periods on the rev limiter in top at over 100mph.

Get to the finish, ease concentration for a nano second, wallop into one of those black stage finish boxes, front end of Mini flattened back towards the bulkhead. All lights annihilated, next stage a night effort. Bah humbug.
