It is in the case
It's a Thermaltake P3 open case.

It's outside on the bench because I was draining the old fluid and putting new coolant in.
Fluid is bright blue and my new carpet is cream colour :lol

It looks very cool indeed Jezz, I'd love to do something like that, but tbh I cba with it. I'm going to get a new PC (not sure whether to build or buy yet) and possibly VR in November to try and land on some Black Friday goodies. Aesthetics don't really bother me all that much, I'd rather spend the money on the performance. What GPU's do you have in it, clearly SLI and liquid cooled. Did you buy them liquid cooled or did you strip them yourself?

Full spec please smile

I7-7700k Kaby Lake CPU - overclocked to 5GHZ
Asus ROG Maximus IX Motherboard
32GB Corsair Vengance 3200MHZ DDR4 Ram with lowered timings
2 x Asus GTX 1070 GFX cards - both overclocked by 20% - I bought the EKB water blocks separately and fitted them myself
256GB Samsung M2 hdd
2 x 256 GB SSD drives
2 x 500GB Sata 3 disks for backups / work
850W Corsair PSU

Custom Watercooling by yours truly.
All in a Thermaltake P3 open case - that's why it has no sides

It's on the workbench as I was flushing the new coolant through and my carpet doesn't react well to blue coolant :lol
I'm changing the case soon though so I can run bigger rads and cooling

Sweet setup!
I live about 20 minutes from Scan and drool over the kit they have in the showroom there now.
In fact I used to live just the other side of the M61 to Scan and used to shop there in the early 2000's when it was just a COD desk!

Scan was where I got the case and some of the watercooling from.
But they're expensive on a lot of parts compared to Overclockers now.

New case and cooling will be done next month

I didn't think the VR headsets were using SLI yet, so I was looking at a single GPU...there was a Titan X 12GB on Amazon for £800, although I'm not buying until I've seen a bench of the 1080Ti against it when that comes out. In fact a lot of the parts when compared came in cheaper on Amazon tbh. I've always found scan a bit too pricey.

With a little messing about I got down to a Titan X with I think a Z170 i7 with AIO liquid cooling and 32gb 3000mhz ram and a decent spec mobo for under £2k, I have the spec on my work laptop because i did it one lunchtime. I'm thinking if I can come up with something similar in November and save around £500 then I can think about a rift to go with it.

This is the case I liked:

I've got one of these at the moment but it's just too big

How about Donington Gp in Renault Megane V6 trophy, it's the combo for the overclockers vr qualifiers so the practice might come in handy for those having a go?

Combo sounds good to me.

With regards to the Corsair case, this is the case I have used in my new build.
It's an awesome case however it is quite wide as it has two compartments, one for the drives and PSU and one for everything else.
It has nice holes between the two so you can route all the cables nicely to the right place with the bulk of them being hidden.

My spec is:
i5 6600k @ 4.6ghz
Noctua NH-D15 cooler
16gb Corsair Vengence ram
nVidia GTX 980
4x SSDs

This runs all my games at 4k no issues and the Vive quite nicely.
I am however thinking about a triple monitor setup when my sim righ turns up and i might add a second 980 for SLI as these can be had for around £250 now.
I did read somewhere that nVidia are developing their drivers so that they can use a card per eye for VR.
Ah here you go: https://developer.nvidia.com/vrworks/graphics/vrsl... although this needs to be enabled within the game code iteself.

I run what was supposed to be budget triples, only 24" screens so it's a bit letterbox really, but it makes a huge difference to cockpit camera. It's the next best thing to VR visually but at 1080p. Ideally I'd love 32" or even 42" but I think I'd struggle to fit them in the mancave. I run it on a single 980ti but it runs at about 90% capacity, my PC is 5 yrs old now so a new build is definitely needed. I was running 2x 770gtx cards but the space between my slots was too small and they were cooking each other. I spent around £700 to get to where I am and tbh I wish I'd just waited and gone for a fresh build. I thought I would be ok until temperatures got out of hand, which led to AIO liquid etc etc. Slippery slope are PC upgrades.

From the times on the online leaderboard I would say you are using the wrong RS 265 or RS 275 Trophy R, not the Trophy V6 of the challenge.

However the Renault Mégane Trophy V6 is part of the Renault DLC and we do keep to non-DLC cars for challengers (even though I and many do have everything).

Unless there has been a GOTY edition released with everything.

I think we should do a few dlc cars now, would be nice to try something different and the packs are only £3.
