Downloaded this for the PS4 last week and currently playing it.

Originally thought it was good due to no lag or the bullst that you experience with BF4 but the st gets tiresome when you cant spawn in on friends, changes you to a different team from your load out, waiting 10+ minutes to get a game etc.

Had a game last night, spawn and died or spawn, spend 2 minutes running to get to the objective due to no spawn beacons or anything like that, kill/die rinse repeat. Its like Oblivion (the film)

Anyone else playing it?

sorry matey i necro'd a thread on this yesterday. Had another go at it earlier but rage quit! Feels so clunky compared to the PC version. Sniping on it felt worthless so chinned that off. Only thing i've noticed so far is a lot of heavy assaults with their suit shields. Hardly anyone using tanks/ships etc either. Gonna play a bit later if your about? Hoping not to press a wrong button and get warped to a different continent!

Tried this previously but didn't really get on with it. Saw it on the PS store so thought I'd give it another go. I can see they've improved it by starting you on a Rookie planet and putting labels\help tips on the various bits so that you have a chance of working out what's going on. The little audio cues are also a nice touch.

However the controls still don't feel right to me, too sluggish and not tight enough which makes shooting at stuff difficult. I've tried playing with the sensitivity settings but it doesn't seem to improve things. Secondly I know it's very much supposed to be team based but I want to get some personal satisfaction from it too. Unfortunately at the lowly levels that you start off at, it is almost impossible to make a difference or have much of an impact on such large maps. Run for 2 minutes, get killed and start again sounds about right.

Levelling looks like it will take an absolute age too unless you want to pay for stuff. Even the basic upgrades\weapons will take many hours of play to achieve. It certainly has promise as game but it's just not inviting enough in the first few days of play to hook and draw you in, the learning curve is a cliff.

Had lots of lag/stutter last night on it coupled with the odd slowdown when in a large populsted base/zone etc. Really want to like this game as much as i did on PC but just finding it do difficult

oh and the spawning back in loading is also annoying!

Originally liked it - levelled up... Then tried joining in on some friends (GunnerL86)... Turns out that you can't go to a warp gate and join your friends... Nor can you join via chat... After 30mins of trying i gave up and went back to.... BF4 laugh

Think new players have to hit rank 15 on the starter map before using the warpgate. I managed to get to amerish at level 7 though?

Played until 3am this morning! 79 kills and 43 deaths later i had enough for one night. Had 1 base fight which lasted over 45 minutes between all 3 factions! I left after we finally managed to get the upper hand. Hiding a sunderer near enemy bases discreetly is key. Racks up the XP as well when people spawn on it!

I've been playing this about two weeks and really loving it so far. Haven't noticed any particular lag or stutter and the load times aren't too bad.

I think the graphics and gameplay are top notch and the upgrades will keep my playing for a long time. I'm saving up for my first 1000 cred upgrade at the moment (which is taking a while), not sure what to get but I'm tempted by one of those auto gun turrets for the engineer class.
