Interstate '76. So. Much.

And no, Vigilante 8 was a pathetic attempt at the same idea.

If this intro video doesn't make you want to play the game, nothing will...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xexOH21wKoA (edited to include a clip with the actual intro movie after the opening cutscene)

I still listen to the soundtrack today.

Half Life?

I think you might be joking. Leave that well alone. Stand alone epic! smile
Probably not a remake, but it would be nice to have the graphics up to current standards like The Division.

Someone may have beaten me to it but Half Life (1) got a remake. It's called Black Mesa and is available on Steam for a tenner (although I downloaded it for free when it was first released, as it was considered freeware on first release)

It's brilliant.

Showing your age there (not that I remember it - cough) wink

Full Throttle is the game I'd like to see remade. Absolute Lucasarts classic.

Dungeon Keeper
Civilization 2
Mechwarrior
Hogs of War

Some of these may have had sequels but they just weren't as good!

My suggestion, Stunt Car Racer on the Amiga, anyone else got any ideas ?
Stunt Car Racer was immense. I guess Trackmania is the closest these days, but a Stunt Car Race remake would get my dosh.

I'd like to see Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory remade. The beach landing map with updated graphics would be pretty special.

Somebody mentioned Sensi Soccer... It was on Xbox 360 a few years back. Well SWOS anyway.

And great call on Cali Games smile

Not a remake as such but I would love 'Shadow of the Colossus' with the latest next gen graphics.

Leave the story, narrative and music completely as is.

I'm still hoping for a Half Life 3. Maybe now with VR tech reaching the mainstream Valve will produce a secret ace from their sleeve. There are rumours (as always) that it's close.

Black Mesa Source is brilliant. It's what most people think half life looks like when they remember playing it hehe The actual half life looks very old now!

Sensi soccer is getting a proper reboot under the name Sociable Soccer, made by the original guys, hopefully they will get it right.

I always loved the original overhead view GTA, another simple game like that with modern graphics, online mutiplayer and a huge map would be great.

Also Hardwar was great, Elite style trading/combat game based on a planet instead of outer space.
