Hating the grind to get the new medic gun! Do t mind he grenade kills as they are quite fun. The rifle is shocking though. You need a scope (which you get on the gun you unlock) or extended mag! Lol

Although like how they are much harder than the last set of guns. You need to grind with these which is better.

The 1906 isn't a bad gun, it just rewards a different play-style to most of the Medic weapons. You do have to be selective about who you engage and how you go about it. In return you get a devastatingly consistent rifle (three shot kill at pretty much every range) with minimal recoil. In an absolute best case scenario you'll only be able to take on two enemies without reloading, provided you get at least one headshot.

It's dangerous at every range because of how quickly you can let three shots loose, and in a pinch you can dump all five rounds at a target. Keep using it and don't be too surprised if you fall in love with it.

Well I unlocked the Martini Henry Sniper.. put together a video with lots of game play doing the kills to get it. Some cool stuff in there like doube kills, k bullet kills, no scopes etc. etc.

Does anyone know if Frontlines will be coming to any of the original maps at any point?

Its by far my favourite game mode...as it stops squads chasing each other roads the larger maps like a bunch of headless chickens.

I hope so, but I don't know how easy it would be to work into some of the maps. Suez would work well as it's quite linear anyway. How do you put it into Sinai though? Would be awesome to have it on more maps though, great game mode.

Your right it's growing on me! lol I don't want to like it but it's hard when it's soo effective as a anti sniper rifle. Haha

I've only just seen this but looked for "pistonheads" on PS4 yesterday and didn't find anything so it might be platform specific.

I created one called "Pistonheads" with the PH tag we used to have in previous versions and the logo - feel free to join up and if anyone more active wants to take over control then they are more than welcome.

More patches on the way, what are your thoughts on these regular updates? I like the idea that they're paying attention to the community whilst simultaneously resigned to the fact that most of them are useless and complaining away their own lack of ability. I'm not sure how I feel that a game I sunk an extra 40quid into is almost constantly changing away from what it was I paid for.

Is anyone playing the other WWI game on the PC...Verdun

Its had a load of updates (probably to keep up with BF1!) , certainly not as slick but pretty good & gritty. (I still play BF1 more smile)

But only a fiver for the next 3 days, so might not be too bad for the price of a couple of pints

They can patch all they want, what they need to do is sort the epic load times and having to watch the same FMV over and over again.

Newest patch has completely changed a lot mainly focused around vehicles and what "perks" and weapons each variant has.

Made operations loop like the other game modes, but you switch sides. So if you were defending, you attack the next rotation.

Agreed, however they finally seem to have got "quit" to a point where it now takes less than a minute so that's progress.

I've also created an Xbox 1 Platoon for Pistonheads since I couldn't find one.

Platoons are in the little left hand pop up menu on the main menu screen. (the one that lets you pick between BF1, BF4 etc.

Making the emblem took the longest!

Hope people who still play on XBO join, at least make it worth while all the emblem fiddling, need to work on the mouth, the hardest bit is the face surprisingly.

I bought an external HDD for extra space and when BF1 was put on that then the load time halved straight away so it's not all EAs fault. (I feel grubby saying that...)
