Recent updates seem to help check achievements better.. although they should have been done from the start not 11 months later!
have grabbed one of the MG's - Perino 1908 which seems solid and the Russian Sniper - 1870 one which is fun close up, currently grinding the rest and the new skills/perks missions.
5 kills in a round behind the sniper shield was a PITA until I used the 1870 up close on Argonne!!

I've just got into this after a 2 year hiatus from games. Finding it very difficult to get kills even with a decent latency. I seem to get hits but it's taken several hits to actually knock them down!
Other than that it's nice to get back into supplying and supporting. Tend to find myself in the top 2/3rds to top half so not bad. I'm rank 7 at the moment.

Does anyone else get weird behaviour when spawning into a plane at the start of a game?
It makes it look like someone else grabbed the spawn but then won't let you spawn anywhere else. Then 10 seconds later you spawn in the plane that has seemingly flown all the way across the map.
On one occasion "I" must have been shot down before I spawned late because it then let me choose another spawn and it showed a hit indicator.
PS4 BTW, decent connection, only started doing this after the last update.

If your are using lmgs as support its 5 hits to kill so you will need a decent burst,
i grabbed a 4 kill multi with the lewis gun low weight yesterday so the starter guns are definetly up to the job.
Helps in you can get them down on the bipod, but the BAR can be used a bit more like an assault rifle.
Although i do enjoy going full rambo with the mg14

Yes its not just you that gets it, i think due to everyone wanting to fly the plane it has to decide on who picked first or what not. So it can take some time to decide. Sometimes i get control as it flies into a mountain, sometimes at the start.It makes it look like someone else grabbed the spawn but then won't let you spawn anywhere else. Even if it punts you off of the select plane bit, dont spawn in as you may get lucky and get a plane. However, if you see plane icons flying around = amount of planes available, you wont be getting one.

I did grab a few with the martini on the 1st floor corridors on frontlines - Amiens around the point C although you need your wits about you
king sick.Most games i play the objective and am normally one of about 5-10 doing so (64 man games) but it soon gets boring so i either set off to kill campers on my team or just snipe. It's particularly bad when you join a squad of snipers who have no intention of playing the objective so you can't spawn anywhere near the current objective.
Frustrating but i will probably be on later, i haven't played for a couple of weeks.

The maps and generally game are superb but it’s totally spoilt by poor teammates.Frustrating but i will probably be on later, i haven't played for a couple of weeks.
My biggest problem is I’m competitive, I love to win even if it’s to the detriment of my own stars/game.

Yes, it often helps. Everyone knows that if you are not leader, and request an order using the comms menu, then if the leader doesn't give an order within a minute or so, you become the leader ? It's a nice mechanic which means that useless squad leaders can be relieved.Still playing on PS4 as "thetapeworm" but not sure why, habit I suppose.

I'd agreeteam marking definitely needs a tweak, it has got too faded.
I'm been unlocking the Russian guns - only three left now - I'm not sure i'll ever shoot down 2 airplanes but I have the other variant, I need some medic rifle grenade kills for the general liu stom but I have the factory and I need 10 Gasser kills for the 1900 slug but I have the 1900 factory

According to westie the medals will update on the next patch so all are unlockable at the same time - not sure if that means all 5 weekly ones or if the stages will unlock together?
there is one this week on xbox with 20 kills of each of the French weapons dlc - I had forgotten how good some of those are (gained 20 Riberolles kills in one game of frontlines)
only the Swedish shotguns kills to get later!
