Do you have the Turning Tides maps? Cape Helles is a good one for destroying boats, the attackers have to come onto land using the attack boats and landing craft so are usually easy pickings if you get a spot on the beach.
if you only have normal maps, the Arab castle/fort map is your best bet..
I got mine on the beach in Cape Helles, lurking near the sub pen in Zeebrugge and also the lighthouse at Heligoland blight

Yes I am in the same boat. Quite put out that I can get it from the PS Store right now but I want a disc and can't seem to find it for sale. Anyone having issues with BF1 after the update on Xbox One? The game will no longer open for me; goes to a black screen and then within a few seconds goes back to my home screen. Tried a hard reset of the Xbox, disc clean etc. Don't really want to be messing about deleting data if I don't have to.
Edit - Even stranger, when I load up BF4, it takes me to the BF1 menu screen, complete with music!

Yeah, they've cocked it right up. Matchmaking often fails, black screen every so often, ending up on empty servers. Not had it just not open though.Edit - Even stranger, when I load up BF4, it takes me to the BF1 menu screen, complete with music!

Autumn update v1.27 just rolled out, some UI fixes and another fix to sort out mid-match balancing.
These seasonal updates used to bring in much more exiting things than this
As usual with the Battlefield games I have failed miserably in my question unlock everything, the more and more I watch all the secret Easter Egg videos and see all the special dogtags etc the more I think I should never even start trying.
I would like to get level 50 tanker before this all fades out, I doubt I'll complete the set and do cavalry too, it's too frustrating.
BFV soon though I guess....

Heard of anything particularly good? Last I saw was the Kraken sound done by ringing the bell, and the massively elaborate zombie room easter egg (that was fairly tedious to even watch on youtube, let alone trying it myself).A few months ago I decided that i'd make sure I got to rank 100 by the time I moved to BFV - and this weekend I reached #99!
Mind you, through the last couple of years everytime I got a battlepack I seemed to get a squad bonus too (in fact, I always seems to have a surplus). However, haven't received one for ages, and in fact have exhausted my squad bonuses a while back (which hasn't helped earning the points I need)
wondered why every other match I was being switched to the losing team, 'mid match balancing' makes me no longer want to play the game. why should I push hard to win the match when im gonna lose anyway..
Also suppression seems to have been adjusted, im quite often getting a 'knock' to my aim when I get suppressed.

Got this when the EA sale was on so I've got some kind of pack. Really enjoying it so far, especially everything being unlockable for a complete n00b like me compared to BF4.
Any general tips? I'm looking at the unlocks for the perks and one of them is that I have to bayonet 5 people, is this just a case of finding a tight and twisty map, running around like a loon and pressing F when you see someone not looking at you?

The squad bonus things seem to have really dried up, at one point I had about 30 of them to use up, I haven't had one in months and don't have any currently. A few months ago I decided that i'd make sure I got to rank 100 by the time I moved to BFV - and this weekend I reached #99!

As far as Easter eggs a lot have completely passed me by as I find them all really frustrating due to rotations and not having control of a server, the latest I've seen is the last of the main ones, it's "An Awakening" and involves all kinds of lunacy on the basis you've already done the previous four easter eggs.
You get a Peacekeeper handgun and some skins I think, it doesn't seem worth it but some folks have been out there sussing all of this crazy stuff out.
