Just play the game, most medic guns and snipers have a bayonet attachment and probably half of the assault class ... if you just run around like a loon trying to bayonet you will just get shot in the face.
Pick the moment, doesnt really help the team or you if by bayonetting, you end up exposed and dead.
Love the daily road to bfV challenges, actually make me want to play the game daily and which leads to the exchange (like the bfv armory) that should have been in place from the start.
Current rank 127, about 50% skins, just 7 weapons left to unlock - 6 melee and need a vehicle k bullet kill to get the valtieri carbine.
Any tips on that would be appreciated!
Slowly working through the perks and medal challenges but not playing them specifically - repair tool kill a tank....... no thanks

Yes the spotting is quite a key change. As will be the having to go and reload tanks/planes (I mean, I got 23 kills the other night on BF1 just dropping bombs on a group of people who insisted on sitting in the same spot for about 10 mins!)Dipped back into this before V. Same old battlefield. If you are a casual gamer or play online alone it’s a tough ask to enjoy.
Played a domination match again some streaming dick like every game these days. Him and team mate both went 15-0. Seriously what’s the point? Just ruins the game for everyone else.
Not particularly battlefield but all online games these days, unless you are playing 6 hours+ a day you can forget being any good.

It has been shocking lately/ever since they did the last update. Some of the guys i play with can go from being god like 50+/>10 on one server to being average on another. On one server i went beast mode and did the same but even when i was firing 2nd in a close fight, id still win it and yet i was a bullet sponge. Yeah, the other night I was storming to victory with my squad and was just setting up my kit. Entered the game to find it had switched me to defence so my kit was of no use and the team work that had got us through the first few bases just rolled over me in the defending team who were useless at best. What was really annoying is my 15/2 kills/deaths dropped to 22/16 within about 5 mins (not helped by twice spawning directly into enemy fire and being instakilled_I haven't really noticed the issues mentioned above but perhaps I'm just used to being awful a lot of the time
I did get 25 unexpected battlepacks the other day, pretty much all duplicate skins but for anyone still trying to build elusive melee weapons you might find you get some useful pieces.
Also a lot of the expansion packs are now (or soon to be) free, worth popping on to grab them even if you've lapsed playing, also quite a few BFV unlocks to be had from playing BF1 so if you're a collector of such things it's a good chance to get a head start.
I've now resigned myself to the fact I'm never going to get all the medals.

It really does make you think what the players on your team are like in real life doesnt it when some are so ineptthetapeworm said:

I love collecting the medals but the fact you can’t see what you need between games kills it for me. If the teams are uneven just hide, if on the winning team, until the changes have been made or get yourself killed, if on the losing team, to switch sides.

Was he flying? A good pilot can easily get a score like that (or higher) if the other team doesn't have a decent pilot themselves, and no-one can be arsed to get on the AA.My BF1 moan: my FPS is always 75fps - its the max my ultrawide monitor can do.
Last night every game was running 30-40 fps, and I hadn't changed anything (no graphics settings, not hardware or software changes on the PC...). Ping was usual level (late 20s).
Will try again tonight, but any ideas? Could it be issues on EA's server side, or would it have to be something to do with my set-up?
