It's not about the realism for me. I just don't find the concept remotely interesting, so I won't download it. I'd have much preferred a decent map extension such a mountain pass with some decent routes and proper elevation changes on it plus a couple of new cars, but never mind. I won't be losing sleep over it.

I can see why they went the Hot Wheels route. Clever thinking on their part but doesn't appeal to 30 year old me. Blizzard Mountains at least was a great addition.

I would have preferred some kind of mountainous new map, but to be honest the hot wheels stuff looks pretty fun and I'm looking forward to giving it a go.
I believe it's also set in its own whole new map spread over a chain of islands so, there's a chance there's still some new normal roads to explore underneath the orange track.

I'm just pleased it's something that looks like FUN, I must be alone because nobody else seems to be saying it but I think the Australia map was rubbish. Doesn't matter how big it is, I can't think of a single road on it that I enjoyed particularly and want to go back and drive again, so for that reason I haven't touched it for months despite having car packs come out that I've already paid for (ultimate edition). Blizzard mountain was a good laugh and a well done map, lots of variety, lots of fun and interesting sections.

I agree, Australia was a pretty disappointing map unfortunately.

Massively stupid. The game itself takes the piss out of it in places.

I've hammered through a loop at 230mph and then jumped hundreds of feet between skyscrapers.

I got the Hot Wheels extension for my little boy. I'm 32 and I love it tbh, something different. I've got Forza 6 for the serious driving.

The latest Forzathon was BS. Here's an indecently difficult challenge to win a vehicle that WAS in the game that I purchased, but was removed by the developer by the time I'd bought it for being "too good". Whatever. The livery editor was busted, too. Uninstalled.

The current Forzathon to win the Huracan HE?

You've uninstalled it now, but for anyone else tonight.. It's 3 stars at the Airport Dangersign in a Mercedes G65. Just under 9 hours left at the time of posting. Come at it from the south, along the dirt track to the left of where it says Dry Reservoir on the map, don't go direct to it off road, it slows you down. Around where the road splits into two, go off road straight for the ramp (selecting it on the sat nav directions helps), a speed of around 130mph should do it (max out the G65 mods). It takes a few goes, I got 15-20 short on distance a few times. Coming from the junction, you will come at the ramp from the left and fly over to the right. It is possible.

I have, I think its great, why does racing have to be so serious? there are some brilliant new tracks and I think it adds a lot of value to the game.

Just got forza horizon 3, it's just installing now.

I used to have horizon 2 back in 2014/15 and it was great fun.

Any tips, tricks or general things you wish you knew? smile

My biggest tip is use those AWD conversions since tyres now take up way too much PI. In lower classes something with AWD and standard tyres at maximum width is surprisingly effective

If you want to maximise your skill chains you need to get your sort out your "perks". Can't remember which ones you need but there's pertly of guides online.

Also, one of the perks improves your chances of getting better payouts on wheel spins so make sure you get that before cashing in.

Has it finished installing yet!?

When cashing in your skill points, don't take instant rewards, the festival / skill power-ups will earn you way more in the long-run.

I played it for am hour yesterday to get my bearings, Very similar FH2 which is a good thing.

Was on 73% when I turned the xbox off.

Nice, will consider that more than instant rewards then, I'm hoping they included the perk that almost always gives you better prizes on the spin. smile

I've bought all my HE edition cars because it's quicker to do 1, ten lap goliath than trying to get the wheelspins to give you the cars. Although I have watch numerous times when it's "just missed" a nice car to give me 2,000CR.

I return to this occasionally and have been reminded recently of how good it is after I installed a free copy of the crew, the big faults still really wind me up though frown

I'm a bit annoyed with FH3. I bought the Porsche car pack a few nights ago (I'm lagging behind on the DLC front!) and enjoyed modifying a few of the 7 cars available. I understand the 918 was a Forzathon prize (and now 20M credits in the AH!), but I didn't realise there were a further 3-4 Porsches that were also released as Forzathon prizes! Really gutted that I missed out on a few! frown

Does anyone know if they will release or gift them soon, or re-run the Forzathons? Bit annoyed at paying for a pack, but missing out on a few key models!
