FM 7 looks likely to be announced at E3 as well. Hopefully it will share Horizon's blueprints and driver customisation

Also, there's a Forzathon FB chat bot which will send you a message every time a new Forzathon event is on. I've found it to be a pretty good way to avoid missing out on exclusive Forzathon cars: https://www.messenger.com/t/forzathonreminderbot

New Forzathon today (the chatbot told me ) . 2 of them are to complete championships to win cars, a 911 GT3 for winning in a classic racer and a 918 for any championship. If you do a championship in a classic racer you win both cars. Not sure if they intended that 2 for 1 but I'm not complaining . Another one is 20 speed skills in a retro hot hatch. Easy. Get in your hatch and hoon it around the airstrip and the motorway/interstate (what do they call them in Australia?). 4th one is to win 3 races in an A class car, should be simple enough. It's open for a week until June 19th.

Bought the Hot Wheels expansion a few days ago and just completed the Goliath race. It's no bad, and rather reminds me of playing F-Zero X back on the Nintendo 64. Main issue I have is the lack of grip, since the game's PI system is biased towards high power and low grip type cars. So I have spent a lot of my time pinballing around the track. The AI is a bit weird as well, sometimes gaining bursts of speed out of nowhere and other times slowing or stopping dead for no good reason

Porsche pack is also on sale for people who missed the previous events. Recently completed the Hot Wheels expansion and the buket list challenges (that one with the Audi Quattro - urgh). Did keep running into this rather amusing physics glitch though

So, the deluxe version is part of the Prime Day sale @ £34.99.

I don't have an XBOX One, however am keen to play this on a Windows 10 gaming PC. When I last asked the question regarding its playability a few months ago there were various issues.

Have any of these been ironed out? How does the game play solely on PC please?

A lot of money for a PC Game (compared to CDKeys, Steam Sales etc), but really keen to play this having enjoyed the original.

Can't comment on the Pc version I'm afraid!

Have a weird one with my sons profile - Anna has a strike through the microphone and isn't doing anything, can't be called etc, anyone know how I can turn it back on? His mates were playing with the settings and he and I have no idea how to turn it back on and my Google fu hasn't shown anything up!

I'm afraid I bought mine through the xbox store at launch so don't know about the playanywhere stuff from getting the xbone version but in terms of playability it's got better (as in you can now have certain anti virus and play the game)

I'm forever having to alt+enter on start up to flick it into full screen despite it being setup for full screen, and you still have lots of game freezes and glitches. If I play for an hour it's usually ended by a crash/freeze of some description and the car customisation menu frequency glitches too (check out Drag-TV's channel on youtube). I don't bother with trying to put custom paint on my cars now and just download other people's work as usually that's fine to avoid spending too much time in that menu.
They've tried to speed up getting into races but it's still a long mess of cutscenes just to get to the race which is just irritating.

The positives do outweigh the negatives but I don't play it much after I had completed it (which is short).

The above might sound petty but I paid £65 for a triple a game and I don't feel I've got my moneys worth, I feel the same about quite alot of new games I've played (NMS/Horizon ZD etc) so it's not just this one but it's not as good as it used to be (see the retro/vintage game thread).

Well, it was working fine - it's in single player only as he doesn't have online access (yet - I need to make sure I've configured the online stuff properly first!), and we don't have Kinect so really not sure. It was his mates who've done it and they can't recall what they did either but he's been reminded not to let them do stuff like that again (he's 7).

So far each car has been a one off. Not sure if you can use the auction house or have to purchase the DLC to get them

Can't use the auction house as you need the dlc to use or if you win through forzathon you can keep, weird.
