I keep sticking my Mareep in a gym and chucking all my spare berries at him. Very occaisionally it gives back a Mareep candy as well as the 20 stardust.

A countdown on him suggests he might be kicked out automatically tomorrow though, so we'll see. He's had 141 treats.

When does the event end?
It's not been one of the best, although I'm not a very heavy player. I've managed to get a couple of Larvitars, a Tyrogue (and so a Hitmontop) and a Mareep (meaning I now only need 42 candies for an Ampharos).
I've also managed to get 5 x 10km eggs which should be useful. With the extra Dust I've got a Vaporean powered right up, and a few others moved along nicely, but really, 2 x Dust isn't enough to make me excited.
How was it for everyone else?

Event ends today at 9pm. Got a decent amount of stardust but it's such a grind...0/2 caught so far on Suicune, but not really that bothered as it's around for a whole month and not even as good as Vaporeon.

You better get downloading now then! Mewtwo raids are invite only and you'll need to have completed a raid at a gym previously to get an opportunity. It's out in certain areas in the UK but not in central London yet though.Shaoxter said:

The MewTwo thing is annoying (bitter, moi?)Lots of people in my local raid chat group got invitations to a MewTwo raid last Sunday and I didn't. We worked out that it was all down to one specific Entei raid at that gym about three weeks earlier. I had raided at that gym (got a Zapdos for certain) but hadn't done that particular raid.
Worse, many of my raids are in London where I work most days during the week. I am guessing that I will get invited to a MewTwo raid at some point, but it will be in London on a Sunday morning when I have no realistic hope of getting up to London for it.

I think it's a rubbish system too, even though I've got one. Several members of our group missed out because they hadn't raided at the specific gym and another got an invite to Birmingham instead, because he happened to do a raid there during the Kangaskhan event.Lots of people in my local raid chat group got invitations to a MewTwo raid last Sunday and I didn't. I just logged on after the update (three logins before it worked properly) to be met with a Houndoom just over the road. Never seen one before! Then 30 seconds later a new (well specced but low level) Shuppet appeared, followed by the texture from my trainer disappearing. I suspect that wasn't intentional. From the vignette, it looks like there is a Duskull around here somewhere.
