For this struggling with friend in golf you can remove and add a friend and that counts. No progress of friendship is lost either.

Done; similarly I’m now struggling some days to collect enough gifts, but every one of you that’s helped me with extra XP (and about to, in only a few days!) - many thanks!!!

Just drop me a message always willing to help out with it, best mentioning in here too though. For trading if you trade something over a year old there is a 75% chance it will go lucky too.

It is if you pick your pokemon wisely. I.e. whalmer who has a big hit box. Or other large ines too. Don’t go trying on ones that move etc.

Wailmer/Mr Mime/Ursaring. Use a high CP one and a red ball and hope it doesn't run.

You get a Miltank from it so you can decide if that's worth it for you. there is a quest for 3 excellent in a row too, that gives a larvitar.

Luckily I had plenty of 2km eggs saved up, so I'm bashing through those on stage 3.

I am doing my best to get round everyone with gifts. Some days I start at the bottom of the friend list and work up, sometimes I work down the way.

Worth noting that it looks like there will be "Evolve using a special item" research tasks coming up, so it might be worth stockpiling Sunkerns, whilst doing the 3x Sunkern for a special item tasks.

2 quests.

One is evolve a sunkern or gloom using an item, later quests will be evolve either 2 or 3 pokemon using items. I've seen conflicting reports about how many it is.

Have any of you manaed to ge MewTwo? My son got an Ex-Raid pass a few months ago - but it was for a school day (and when I was at work with the phone he plays on)...

Unless Niantic add a Special Research quest for MewTwo I doubt he will ever get one - as he has only managed to raid solo or with his sister.

Me and the girlfriend both got one for one of the gyms in Saltwell park Gateshead (all the gyms bar one there are EX) and luckily we both could make it around our work diaries... we got another a few weeks back on a Saturday though and unfortunately she was in Wales and me Scotland.

We have one coming up this Saturday though in Blyth (bit of a trip out for us).

Keep trying is the answer, they seem to be on all different days of the week.
