I don't have access to another phone unfortunately, but I do have access to a tablet (obviously with GPS but no 3G/4G). I wonder if I set up an account on there, run it on wifi, whether that could do the job.

Having a look around on the net, is there actually a range limit on trades? There is an achievement for trade range, and there seem to be people in Australia and the USA trading with each other.

Just a reminder for those on the celebi quests that she walking your eevee 10km it must be your buddy still when you evolve to espeon/umbreon.

Few of my local. Players have removed from buddy and evolved later which then results in a random eeveelution .
Thanks for that tip thumbup

They're trading a pokemon caught in USA (or hatched from an egg sent by someone in the USA) with one from Australia. You still have to be within a physical distance to do the trade.

I've just added both of your kids to both of my kids accounts. I tend to play for them in the week and they do stuff at weekends.

Making an excellent curveball? Is there a knack or is it sheer luck? Tips, please?!

Everything I’m currently catching is with a curveball. Do I get need to get lucky?

This is the Mythical Discovery task I'm stuck on myself at the moment... I can reel off loads of "Great" and "Nice" curveball throws but not Excellent smile

I watched a Youtube video that showed me a technique, but they still are not easy, I usually manage about one a week (usually on the legendary given away as a reward for completing field research)

I didn’t even get a chance to check out YouTube. Threw a flukey shot just now and hit the magic spot!! 15 Pokemon with berries to catch and I’m there!!

Try doing it on nosepass/wailmer/ulsuring, the bigger the initial the circle the easier to get a curveball.

My celebi is utter rubbish at 73%, it's not a meta relevant pokemon but it would be nice to have a good one!

I got it on a Gulpin of all things! Only three more berries to feed.....

I’m seeing more people collect 100% Pokemon - does this mean they are checking everything caught on Poke Genie?

I successfully completed the 4 great curveballs in a row challenge on Tuesday. It wasn't fun - well it was a bit - but I echo the other tips and would only suggest you choose the right battleground. its very much easier. Stick it in the 'later' pile and save it for the legendary you are presented with every week. you can fine tune your efforts more easily and the hit circle is as big as its going to get. Oh, and the nanabs help counter the nerves!

Finally made my excellent curveball throw today, on a Growlithe of all things. I think there's a certain amount of fluke involved smile

I just got a Porygon from a 10km egg. What does a chap have to do to get a Beldum?

Highly likely to be the October community day where they will be everywhere, the special move for October is in the code and it only really fits beldum.
