currently on a boat, heading out to the north Atlantic for a fortnight. the added bonus of terrible wifi means that i will not be able to partake in pokemon go

I also have lots of work to do, so probably not the best idea to be swanning round a vessel looking for Ratatas.

i also need another friend to get the professor's requirement thingy, so if you havent already, please add me.

Was in a little village called Trequite but the house was down in a valley and the phone signal/data connection non-existent.

The UK really is piss-poor for this sort of thing, I was in Vietnam a while back and could get 4G in most places and 3G everywhere else, even on a mountainside between Hue and Da Nang!!

Place we stayed was beautiful though and would thoroughly recommend it. If anyone is interested in staying in that part of the world in the future then googling "St Docwin" will find it.

I've been getting to the end of the day with 8-10 gifts I can't give out.

How am I going to get to be Super-Duper Best Friends with a bunch of people I've never met of the internet if you 'orrible don't open them?

Finally got my Charizard this morning. This event has really helped fill some gaps!

There are some unusual pokemon popping up around here, this morning I've had a Lapras, a Hitmonchan and a Tangela. Never seen the last two in the wild before!

I got a Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan, Tangela all in the wld recently. Also got a Kangaskhan from a 7km egg!

Now is a great time to do the "Catch 5 Fire for a Silver Pinapberry" task, as there are loads of Growlithe, Charmander and Ponyta about.

With the Mew2 raids coming, Dark will be an important type for those raids, so Gengar and Gyrados with Dark moves might be worth targeting.

It will also be worth stocking up on Rhyhorns, as there is a Rhydon evolution in Gen 4. (Plenty of others too, below...)

For the last few hours my app has failed to load properly, it skips the don't drive warning and just goes to this screen with the white disc constantly spinning. No response to touch screen, tried force stopping and relaunching app several times but nothing works.

Any ideas?

Yes, had that before. Had to uninstall the app and reinstall.

A reinstall sorted it out, first time I've done that so was seriously paranoid for a while it was going to switch back on at Level 1

How annoying is it when you spin a stop, and it gives you an egg, and only then it decides to tell you that your egg just hatched! This means you don't then have space for an egg donated by someone on your Friend list. Bah!

On the plus side, the egg that just hatched was a Kangaskhan!

I've got a backlog of gifts to open as I'm waiting for eggs to hatch . Since the regionals have been released I've hatched to 7km eggs. Alohan Meowth and Rattata . Only 12 left on the Kanto Pokedex
