You only have to battle in them. You could find a nice comfy bench, and claim all of them from one raid.

Also, how does 9pm GMT suit for egg dropping and friends stuff tonight?

I got the first for the two credits for a raid when the battle started this morning. It was a Shinx, so I clobbered him and legged it to work, but seems like it should.

For the old Mew quest, you got it for completing a Raid, so just stuck a Blissy in against a Magikarp, and let it run, but not tried it yet on the new ones.

in theory you could just quit out it 10 times if it counted every attempt

Used to work for the Mew quest, but I thought they patched that particular loophole as it didn't work for one of the more recent special researches.

For the raids ones for the later quests you only had to join and it gave you the credit for taking part as i caught a few on my way past gyms when catching at right time.

10 is gooing to be an ask when I get there.

Also the later catch one too as haven’t seen one of those in ages.

It does trigger as soon as you enter a raid, you don’t need to actually complete it.

The Aerodactyl one should appear as a ‘let’s go’ challenge in your daily challenges from Pokestops so filter those out and only do the ones that generate an encounter.

Took the easy route to a Meltan, found someone with a Nintendo Switch and a let's go Eevee/Pikachu game

By the way, they're 400 candies to evolve and 20km to walk oer candy!

I guess I'll have to hit up Discord and find someone too. 400 x 20km is 8,000km. So that's not doable. Partly because I've only walked 3,103km so far anyway.

At 50km a week it will take 160 weeks. So about 3 years. Even with a few rare candies and some weeks walking more, it's looking like a sold 2 years of walking. So no.
