I've got one of everything, although admittedly not Shiny variants. (Although is there a baby Mr Mime available, I don't one of those if they exist, must check.)

I've got plenty of babies from Auckland and Dunedin to trade with people for the Pilot Badge, when I can find someone who can be arsed to trade with me.

I think there's probably more value for me in trying to get a bunch of half decent Larvitars, Beldrums, Bagons and Gibles from 10km eggs, ready for the December catch-up event, as there may be a chance to get the legacy moves that make them pretty kick-ass.

If there's an angle I've not thought of though, I'd be keen to learn!

Not really, I'm just working on ticking off my shiny dex...
Which is a pretty tough moving target as there's always new ones which I can't keep up with

Thanks guys, I'll get the hang of the game mechanics involved. But there's no downside to pushing out and receiving Gifts? they've been accumulating in my bag.

I think you can send out an unlimited amount, but only open 20 a day.

You get 50,000XP for the Ultra Friend at 30 days, and 100,000XP for Best friends at 90 days too, which helps.

Ahh, the long game element that was in Ingress.

Although I'll admit, it seemed easier to hold a portal for 30 days than its proving to get an Excellent Curveball!

Excellent curveballs are about practice, luck, and choosing the right target.

At the moment, Zangoose and Stantler are probably your best bet. There's a few others that work well, like Ursaring and Wailmer, but they are not very common currently. Your weekly research reward legendary can be good for this too, but I thinkk this has just changed to a San Franciscan Eevee, which is a bit rubbish.

The "three Excellent Curballs for a Tyrranitar" research quest is doable, but not at all easy.

There is a limit, think its 100 though so not many people hit it

Has anyone got an Unown out of an event 10km egg yet?

I've opened either 31 or 32 eggs since the event started. Only one has been 10km so far, and it had a Porygon in it.

Nope, have opened about 7 10k eggs in the last few days as I got an Ultra Box so had plenty of incubators and still don’t have Unown.
