Pokemon Go - Don't be shy....
Discussion
I pretty much gave up trying to beat them as it was often a crap shoot whether you would be able to manage it, even with an ideal party, and you would burn though loads of revives just trying to catch a poisoned Rattata, or some such
It does seem to have gotten a bit easier recently though, have managed to beat a couple without too much difficulty, just taking note of the hint on Pokemon type and picking strong counters.

Why so many yellows, I think I have too many of them if I get over 300,
Seemed a waste to delete them. I go past at least 12 Pokestops each morning and evening walking the dog, so I am never short of stuff.
For some reason, Gold and Silver Berries and Yellow Balls seem to be worth keeping over other stuff, and the yellow balls fill up quicker.

I've got a gotcha, so keep my yellow balls down and try get loads of red balls, I go past at least 12 Pokestops each morning and evening walking the dog, so I am never short of stuff.

I'm the same with golden and silver, though forget silver exist till after the time that would be useful to use them. It's rare candied I don't have a use for yet keep getting, at first I just poiured them into legendaries but once I hit 200 on most of them I don't know where to put it!

I don't get that many of them, but I always have a "project" Legendary that I'm trying to max with the best moves, and a high IV. At the moment it's a Mew2.Heartworm said:
How did people find Go-Fest? I didn't find it bad but it really missed the social aspect of being able to do it in a group.
It was good as it could have been tbh. Got a bunch of new shinies on the first day sat at home, second day was a family day out so only the gotcha was playing and I didn't get much.Sadly my shadow birds and Mewtwo were all awful.Aha, was wondering if there was a thread on here about this game - I used to play the card game as a kid and during lockdown a friend suggested I play Pokemon Go during my daily walk. I've become quite hooked on it since then - have got over 300 Pokemon and have won a few battles, there's about four Pokestops and three gyms within walking distance of my house.
I seem to have hit my limit when battling though - have had a few losses to Team Rocket leaders (there's always a balloon thing hanging around over my house) and have run out of Revives so my best Pokemon are out of action. Will read through the thread for tips
(Edit) have also put my details on the wiki, feel free to add me.

I've given up on the balloon things (mostly). The sub-bosses (Sierra, Arlo, and, er, the other one) are killable relatively easily now for me but just soak up occasional revives and several potions and don't seem to reward me with anything other than another mob that I've caught and cleansed a few dozen times before. The final boss just seems to exist to take revives off me, so I have given up and just let him float around.

Yeah, can't really be bothered with any Rocket stuff any more, and that's despite me needing to defeat two of them for some challenge or other.
Maybe I'm just having a grumpy few days, but the whole thing is becoming uninspiring again. The only things I seem to do on it when walking the dog are spin Pokestops to find rare candy research and collect gifts, and walk the eggs.I am trying to get the gifts out to everyone, but rarely get them all opened.

If anyone also needs to complete "Trade a pokemon", give me a shout. Been sitting on that one a while now, probably time I cleared it off the list!
What area of the country are you in, trading requires you to be within 100m of each other.Megaraids are out, not sure what I make of the mechanics of it, looks like a bit of a PITA really.
