Sony Playstation VR
Discussion
I have a PSVR and love it (given the limitations of being an add-on for PS4 it is frankly amazing) but after getting an Oculus Quest 2 I couldn't go back to using cables.
The difference between using something tethered to a PC/console and playing standalone or via a WiFi link is just immense. I started with the USB-C cable link to my PC on the Quest 2 which was defintely an improvement over the thick original PSVR cables but it was still a hindrance. When I moved to WiFi using Virtual Desktop app it was a revelation. The Quest now also has native WiFi link support.
I do like the OLED screens and 110 degree FOV in the specs of the new PSVR headset though. Quest2 only has 90 degrees and it can be noticeable.
