Pretty hyped about this now; I always take E3 promo vids with a pinch of salt but the action in there looks pretty messy and brutal. I remember the first time I played Last of Us how surprised I was at how brutal some of the takedowns could be - this gave me the same kinda chills! I was a big fan of the original (completing Grounded mode is probably the toughest thing I've done in a video game) and can't wait to get into this.
That was one of the things I liked about the first one - it had that clumsy and desperate feel to it that you'd get from an everyday person trying to survive, as opposed to some sort of Spec Ops soldier smoothly ghosting his enemies. Naughty Dog are in trouble. The backlash from the leaked game is going to hurt them. Reports of staff being mistreated, not paid and overworked. A lot of people are cancelling pre orders due to what has been revealed about the games content. Link might have spoilers.

How can you expect to understand a game from a few leaked pics / videos without any context!
The game will be excellent no doubt.

Anyway, what's been leaked has been chosen with consideration. We're not talking about a few pics or little importantance, the leaks contain details about the death of main characters, major story beats and the resulting gameplay.
I was on the fence about playing it as I thought the first game was boring, but now I've seen the leaks I don't feel inclined to play it at all. Naughty Dog's reaction in itself is enough to get a feel for the enormity of the spoilers.

All games developers "abuse" their workers in some way, whether that's with the grind or some questionable management decisions.
Not saying I agree with it but look at GTA5 and how miserable the staff were, still despite all the people moaning about shark cards etc yet it's still one of the most popular games to be played, one of the most popular to be streamed and I think the highest grossing game of all time.
So I think when it comes to the crunch , people will not cut their own nose to spite their face and will still buy the game and no doubt enjoy it, only to go onto Facebook later and say they'd never buy it and how much they hate Naughty Dog
I'm glad they leaked it, has allowed me to cancel my preorder. As a comparison, it would be like Empire Strikes Back having Han get killed by the daughter of a random Stormtrooper who was on the Death Star, who we then follow for the rest of the film as she tracks down and kills Luke. Head of this game seems to have a creepy fetish about muscles and violence against women as well.

Sorry, I couldn't resist. It is, of course, a doctored image using an old meme from a previous Metal Gear game. The point it makes is very real though, how does a woman (?) sustain a physique like that in a post-apocalyptic world.
