Jobbo, how are you getting empty lobbies all the time? I thought it had been patched
Still the same way - MTU setting changed (I use 788).

Could you explain that please.
Did you have to have one as a personal vehicle?
"No bridge"?
What was with the slow driving hugging the kerb?

You always needed a Dubsta 2 to spawn the chrome/gold ones, and since he's driving a personal Dubsta 2 in the video I'm sure that's still the case. Many of us still have a Dubsta 2 to try to spawn them; you can save one in your garage to use.

No bridge: there was a method of spawning them which involved driving slowly along the freeway overbridge; you could see from the bridge whether one had spawned. Terribly unreliable for me.

Slow driving hugging the kerb; the kerb bit is almost certainly superstition. Driving towards the spawn point slowly is the way to spawn Sentinels so I imagine it's also the way to spawn Dubsta 2s, but the kerb hugging isn't necessary for Sentinels so I doubt it is for Dubsta 2s either.

I agree about the curb bit, but not 100% sure though.
There’s a huge thread about spawning them on GTA forum, another has a method of flying towards central LSC but staying to the left side of the road.
I’ve not tried to get one for ages, I’m going to give it a go now using the method in the video above

Id like one just for the collection, do people generally spawn these to sell? Never saw the point in farming sentinels etc its such a slow and low payout, how do the dubstas differ?

They sell for the most, still not really a lot of money though. It used to be a decent way to earn until the CEO stuff and inflation went mental laugh.

Fell by the wayside now, like the daily tasks thing.

They’re just a nice rarity really.
They are different from the normal Dubsta in a few ways. It originated on the PS3 when they were only offline in a mission and not available online.
Someone glitched me one online and I’ve had it ever since. Then they started spawning online up near Medrazzo’s house and it was pretty easy to get them. It was worth farming them then.
Then that stopped and now they only appear at the three LSC’s in the city at certain times of the day. It’s very hard to get them so no one bothers now.
I can try to get one if you catch me online. It’s easier in the denial of service mission as that locks the time to noon

I usually try and farm the modded Sentinels outside Tequila-la-la but lately they seem to have stopped appearing as much, and its becoming a bit of a waste of time trying to get them.

I think the sentinels are handy if you’re in the area at the right time of night, I don’t go out of my way to get them these days though

Are they "better" than normal Sandkings? My female character has a SWB one in bright pink but I don't use it so much now as I have a bright pink trophy truck.

That Sentinel spawning in that video - are they spawning like that because of the speed of approach (I just zoom up an down doing handbrake turns, or sit waiting on the junction opposite) or because they're already in a Sentinel. I can sit all night and one won't appear.

It’s all to do with approach speed and where from. It doesn’t have to be going up the hill, but that’s just a convenient loop to use.
To spawn any cars you need to approach an area slowly and have it out of view.
I think the basic rule of thumb is you need to go at least two blocks away to spawn or refresh a car on the street with a different one.
If you drive up that hill slowly after 10pm in any car the chances of them spawning are high.
Normally first go, second or third at the most.
The sandkings are just partly modded, so sell for decent money, nothing different about them that cannot be recreated in LSC
