Coupes is the Felon (the four door one) or the Ubermacht Zion. The Exemplar is quick but it doesn't corner as well as the cars with spoilers.

The Stirling is the quickest sport classic by far. The Pigalle will just about keep up with it on tracks with long straights but there isn't really anything else in the same league. The Casco and Z-Type are quick but again without the spoiler they struggle with corners.

Off road is the Trophy Truck and/or The BF400.
Thanks. Zion and felon are both cheap enough so will sort one out.

Stirling will have to see if it's ever reduced as it's a bit rich.

Have a trophy truck, didn't think of it as fast, but guess there isn't much competition in the 4x4 class for it. biggrin

We very rarely race sports classics so save your money.

What does everyone think is the best supercar to buy and upgrade? Pete let me try his Nero the other night and that was easy to drive fast. Been reading good things about the tempesta.

After a fortnight or so of grinding, I have six million dollars to spend. Other than an armoured karuma, an elegy and a comet retro, I don't own anything decent or fast.

Help me invest my ill gotten gains in some race winning motors.

Also, where do you buy the fighter jets? I couldn't see them on any of the websites. I'm fed up of randoms shooting me to bits with theirs so need to level the playing field.

The Tempesta is pretty decent. It's a bit faster than the Nero. It's worth modding up an Elegy or massacro for sports car racing as well.

You need to do the Humane Raid heist to unlock the hydra.

Gutted I missed the races if bombs were on the go, don't think I've ever had a pistonheads race session where stickies and proxy mines were in play!!!

I'm generally milling around at the back and always have great fun with the other guys who aren't quite as quick/serious.

It can be frustrating avoiding accidents and getting punted but in my experience it evens out in the long run, no one goes out with the intention of ruining other people's race.

Gentleman's agreement from what I've gained is if you pull a dick move and take someone else out, you let them pass on the next straight- not everyone does that but the vast majority do. Jobbo has done in the past with me, even Cheshire did when we were basically playing dodgems- but it was fair and most iportantly fun.

How about an anarchy playlist some time, with stickies, power ups etc? Proxy mines are a cheap shot in my opinion but stickies are hilarious smile.

I normally host sundays and lock them to standard to avoid the bombings however pretty sure it's challengers track that races from the docks to chilliad and back totally no rules and only about 3 checkpoints which is a good laugh.

Or Jobbo's or Norfolk's or my version of the same premise

The downside of those is they don't pay very well; I wonder if we can work out a way to improve payouts? Lots of checkpoints right at the beginning, maybe; now you can do alternative routes it'd be possible to have them split too.

You'd think the payout would be good due to the length of time the race takes.

It's sometimes good to just do stuff for a laugh as well. It was a good challenge taking my Moonbeam mountain climbing last night laugh.

Stealing peoples cars when they go to sell them , so wrong but so funny.

Ah, I think I'd feel bad doing that. I've got no problem messing with people in free roam but messing with people while they're just trying to make some money isn't my cup of tea.

It'd be nice if the payout was a bit better though - half an hour for $7k (if you win) is worse than just standing around being someone's CEO bh. There's some calculation based on number of checkpoints but I don't know how it works; it didn't go up much when I added a dozen before the finish line.

Sometimes you just have to take the time to get off the grind and smell the roses/high explosives/dead hookers Jobbo.

I always thought (for fun!) we should do like a PH lucky dip secret santa type thing...

where by each person mods a car to a budget of their choice, they all then go into a "hat" and you get a random car from another member to use in a set of "challenges"!
