GTA 5 launched 6 years (and a console generation) ago today. How time flies
It would be interesting what there online player numbers are like now compared to a few years ago.Maybe it's just me but lobbies seem quieter now , just look at our sunday sessions compared to 2-3 years ago when together with vcmm we filled lobbies for our race nights.
Fingers crossed they have something in the pipeline ( gta7 )
I think they'll probably do gta6 first
meantime, how to nearly overtake Joyrider on Panic Stations..

So a bit of an apology and explanation is in order. I've been transitioning from one antidepressant medication to another with some bad side effects. A few weeks ago was exactly that. Brain chemistry getting out of hand without me being able to control it, and I'm sorry for looking and behaving like a tt. :/ Feels like you all thought it was a bit of a joke so if you're willing to let it slide I'd like to join you guys if there's racing tonight. I think I'm settled now, got over the nasty bit and should be able to act like a normal human being. If you guys would rather I left the crew though I guess I understand that.

Well I wasn’t there, but of course, just join back in - the more the merrier I am seriously considering getting this again as I had it during the PS3/PS4 crossover but I didn't bother with the online side of the game. How far am I behind the online world and would I struggle online if I got it again being so many years behind?
I have a habit of not staying with games once I have completed the story so im deciding between this and RDR2 which I already have for online.

The online world is pretty much way beyond what it would have started with I'm afraid! We've gone from repossessing cars and shaking down small time drug deals to flying motorbikes, saving the world from nuclear armageddon and fighting with laser weapons. You theoretically can rank up from a base character but you'll be hopelessly outclassed in free mode and races. You'll be bothered with phone calls every three seconds to buy these properties toucan't afford and won't actually make you any money until you spend even -more- on them. If you're going to get into online, it's best to do it with a bunch of people - meeting up with the crew nights on Sunday (if you're on tonight around 8 we're happy to find something to do for a newbie). RDR2 is easier to get into at this stage but it's a different experience. It's probably best to know what you'd want from a game. A long slow story-like experience or mayhem online with your buddies.
