Bah, its not that bad. I'd suggest you find an active crew to play with and who can help you out.
Although there is a metric s
tload of stuff to buy, most of it is a waste of time - I'd stick to a CEO office and import/export business. The bunker, nightclub and all the other businesses take too much effort.
Other than a buzzard I wouldn't bother with any aircraft, weaponised vehicles aren't needed either. The stunt racing thing is ste, don't bother. Nightclub apartment is only worth it to play the missions - not great value for money. Yachts are an utter waste.
You can buy all this stuff when you have loads of cash, get your character levelled up and a decent set of cars to race with first imho.
Steal the sentinels and sell them every 48 mins - I sell at least two each time I'm on. Combined with a sightseer and headhunter you'll be~ 60k up in 10 mins. Do a heists run through with some people (you can probably talk us in to it if there are enough on). Do whatever is double money. You can do all of this stuff in a crew / invite only session so you won't get assholes killing you all the time (likely in public sessions cos people are assholes).

We should be getting the Jugular (which is Sports) this Thursday, know if it fits into that sort of category or is it a bit faster? Surely someone's done pre-release testing.
