26 spin and resets later and I have a lovely JPS inspired F1 car in my garage.

It's not that great to be honest but had to be done.

I definitely prefer the civics!

Is there a guide to help me actually get online?

I am VERY late to this party..I played through the story line a few years ago but i never tried to go online until now, and I can't!

The game just sits on the loading screen. I just let it run for nearly 20 minutes and nothing happened.

This is the PC version by the way.

If you’ve never been online before there’s things like creating your character etc before you actually get into online. It’s a bit slow loading sometimes on PS4 but it is never *that* slow!

I don’t think there’s any guide to fix that; is your game updated?

I just downloaded it directly from Rockstar (I had it on PS4 previously) So i assume it is updated. The download was 88GB.

So, i need to create a character, surely it should ask me to do that then?

Anyone noticed a change to the insurance situation?

I was driving along yesterday in a car that usually attracts a GTA$18k penalty for destroying it - Truffade. However in this case the insurance was something like GTA$837, which was odd.

Is this new or a one off oddity?

It was a podium Truffade - forget which, the one with the moving boot spoiler that looks like a Veyron. Usually people get billed 18k for blowing it up.

Since podium win cars sell for less I assume the insurance cost is based on that value, not RRP.

Now i have managed to get online I tried one race and after about 12 laps a couple of the players decided it would be more fun to ruin the race for everyone than to race. They ended up hitting me and blocking me so many that I didn't mage to finish the race and got no rewards after about 19 laps out of 20..

Join the crew racing sessions , then we can kick the people fking up the races or just do it non contact.

You just join on a crew member or we always race sunday nights at 8 for a hour or so .
