What the hell?
I was just minding my own business (literally) getting some supplies for my counterfeit money factory and i message pops up on my screen "'player name' invites you to their apartment" and then my game crashed (for the first time ever).
Is this a known thing?
Get your PS4 sorted , I know you PC guys are supposed to be the overlords to us console peasants , but nobody seems to play GTA on the PC.I was just minding my own business (literally) getting some supplies for my counterfeit money factory and i message pops up on my screen "'player name' invites you to their apartment" and then my game crashed (for the first time ever).

Maybe you are right.I just had another strange crash where i was just driving along (getting supplies again) and the game just kicked me onto a different server with a message along the lines of 'Could not connect you to a suitable game server'..

Turn off the PS4, then reboot the game holding R1 and L1 at the same time, empties the caches.....
I am playing on a PC I have been having more issues too. The game froze up as i was trying to enter one of my businesses and when i quit out by ending the task i got a message talking about my graphics settings so i have been messing with them and that seems to be causing more issues, like the game starting in a 800x600 window so small i cant read the text even though i asked it to run full screen at 1920x1080 (I was previously running it in 4k).

I am slightly conflicted..not only does it mean i need to fix my PS4..the reason i have installed it on the PC is to play with a mate of mine (who has so far failed to get up and running!)
Not to mention i bought the criminal starter pack for the PC version so i have a good headstart!

Balance in the GTA bank is over 25m now. (has gone up significantly since I stopped purchasing my vintage car collection!)
Struggling to find reason to keep playing. Do we have an expected time for the next DLC?
I got taken on a tour of someones bunkers and garages the other day and i was frankly gobsmacked. He seemed to have every helicopter, plane, tank/military hardware and expensive car that you could get, just sitting around in facilities all over the map. He had (at least) two separate multi storyStruggling to find reason to keep playing. Do we have an expected time for the next DLC?
garages just to house exotic cars.
I assume he has hacked his account as raising that sort of money must surely be a full time job that would take years!

For those that have been playing the game since it was released (6.5 years ago!) that's quite normal - It's not hard to make money in this game once you've got all the business working for you, and if you take advantage of double money activities. Obviously the odd glitch can help now and again if you're that way inclined, but even without that the money soon racks up. garages just to house exotic cars.

Take the casino heists for example - pretty easy to do the setups in an hour or so, then do the actual heist on 50% share with another person and you easily make around 800k each time - Soon adds up, although can become a bit of a grind after a while

Or just buy shark cards
I would never consider doing that but i just looked them up and it looks like you get about $1m GTA dollars for £10 real pounds. Do people really do that? It would cost about £40 just to buy a rare car! Bought a Akula and as the other poster mentioned, no work no reward.....the rest is self earned. But heist after heist get nearly as boring as those post van niker deliveries....
I remember back in the day, playing Coveted over and over again to make enough money to buy a Panto.... those were the days
I also remember being the beneficiary of a $99m bounty early in PS3 online, which seemed like limitless money. Most of it was wiped by Rockstar anyway, but I’ve earned about 5x that perfectly legitimately since. God knows how you get by as a new player these days.
