I saw someone had parked their submarine adjacent to the beach so thought I would see if i could push it onto the beach with my own sub.

It didnt work out quite as I thought it might (mine is on top)

It actually glitched through the other sub and this was the solution the software came up with!

I thought it was some daft modding rofl
Reminds me of this video - personal favourites are the giant hamburger and the swastika biggrin

Hi all, glad I noticed this thread! Have been playing online for a little while and really enjoying it. Can I ask for some advice please? Let me tell you where I am:

Only on level 56. Bought the Duke O' Death, got a nightclub although no business to go with it. Just about to buy Maze Bank West.

I feel that my progress had really slowed recently and not really got any direction. I join the jobs that are offered, but can anyone offer any tips on how to keep making money, ranking up, etc. I'm not currently playing online with friends.

Cheers

Cayo Perico heist., you need to buy the submarine (2.2m). You'll earn about 1.3m each time you do it, takes just over an hour with al the setups you need to do.
Go longfin for the vehicle, main dock for entry/exit point and drainage tunnel as your access point.
Go to the airfield first, fill your bag with whatever is there and then go down to the drainage tunnel, Alex has a video that shows you can sneak past most of the guards, exit via the front door, just ahead and to your left is a guy with a bike, shoot him, take the bike, head northwest, jump in to the sea and swim away.

I forget - do you need the CEO office to buy the businesses ? if not, don't bother because you can just sign up as a VIP instead.

Steal the modded Sentinels that appear 10pm-4am outside the tequilla bar, look for a video on youtube. Very easy to get and worth 15-17k a time. I have a collection and flog one each time I log on and then as soon as I can.

Have a look online as to what businesses earn the most money (I forget..) and just let them run under the nightclub, just nip in and do a sale every so often. You need to do this in a public lobby (ick) but on PS4 if you change the MTU to around 800 in your network settings you'll always get an empty session so don't have to deal with tts blowing you up etc.

If so, join the crew on rockstar social, someone will provide a link, and we’ll be happy to help you level up etc. We’ll even let you join the Sunday night racing/cockabout too if you want?

you do have to watch out for orange bonnets in races though !

oh and get used to the straining...

@OnTheSauce - just seen that this week the submarine is 25% off and the pay out for the cayo heist is upped by 50% for the main loot, so that brings it up to more like 1.6-2m I reckon.

That's excellent. Thanks both! Just the sort of thing I was after. Will pop on YT tonight and see what's what with the Sentinels and business to couple the nightclub, and if I need to be a CEO or not. Will then look at tackling that Cayo heist.

Would love to join in! I'm using a PS4. I feel it's only right that I disclose that I really am a bit rubbish - this is the first game I've played properly in years, and it doesn't appear to be too easy for those who are newcomers. Well, that's my excuse hehe I am getting there and learning, but have definitely realised that it's a slow process.. although I have been enjoying the odd battle royale here and there in-between jobs and VIP missions.

Cheers beer

I seem to have discovered at least a partial solution to the problem of Opressors - following on from some of the tuition videos a Nightshark does the business, they can't carry enough missiles to destroy it.

Then start lobbing sticky bombs at them - they go miles if you're moving - the noobs get to close or stay still so sometimes you can hit them. That often scares them off, and you look cool if you get the rare kill.

The other one which surprised me is that if they're following you just slam on and reverse - they end up blowing themselves up, and as a bonus they end up paying the insurance excess on their cursed broomstick.

Most of them tend to just stay out of your way when they realise they're not getting a skill-free easy kill.

Use youtube to search money grind videos. dont buy cars, clothes or any other faff. Get the bunker and submarine and concentrate on solo grind between buying supplies then running perico heist (follow the youtube vids for guidance)

I'm with you, I'm struggling to focus and be able to out the parts together to make consistent good money.

I did read this game is a grinding, time consumer and if you don't have time or appetite then it won't be for you and you won't get far. Unfortunately i've no interest in the little grindy missions but the issue I have is I'm not quite sure how to put all the income stream together.

I have a casino apartment, a bunker, a Bikie club and $900k. What do I do to make it all to actually start making money?

I cant be arsed with the grinding really, obviously we had to in the early days of the game when there wasn’t the option to do high payout heists etc.

If you havent already do all the heists. Until you can afford to run the new heist, you need a sub, rinse and repeat the casino heist - you’ll need the arcade. Pretty quick and easy to do with 2 people and you’ll make at least $500k each.

If you have the bunker then fill that (supply missions) and sell. A week or two ago that was double money.

Watch out for every Thursday to see whats double money.

VIP missions (headhunter & sightseer) are easy and net 20k+ a time. If you don't have a buzzard for headhunter try the hospital or the marina heliport or LSIA.

Sentinel spawn https://youtu.be/DnmcEig87Pw worth 15-17k you can see one every 48mins. I keep a stock and sell every time I get on even now. I must have sold hundreds if not thousands of them.

Spin the wheel in the casino, go to the desk to get 1000 chips a day that you can then sell. Cars you win aren't worth anything but if you win one you already have you can usually sell the existing one and come out in profit.

If you have amazon prime delivery sign up for amazon prime gaming - log on every week for 200k, do 4 weeks in a row and you get an extra 200k, so $1m a month. Additionally if you are on PS4 you get a separate $1m a month just for logging on. Prime gaming thing also gives additional discounts.

IMHO the businesses on their own need work to earn, better to buy the nightclub and run them passively from there. Some businesses (IIRC documentary forgery) payout is low. I think its the coke factory thats worth the most. I didn't bother with the businesses until I had the nightclub. You can leave yourself logged in watching tv in your apartment and the money will just tick up with you doing nothing. The bunker counts as one of the businesses too.

As above, do the heists. If you are on PS4 join us lot (my psn name is above, chuck me a friend request).
Someone is on most nights and can probably run through them with you - they are worth doing anyway for gameplay.
The original set you just need a half decent apartment (not sure if you can do them from casino apartment), the second set you need a facility, the third the games arcade and the newest ones you need the submarine, which is on sale and the payout is x1.5 this week. But for the moment don't bother buying these until you're flush - someone can run through them an host it for you.

The new heists are a bit of a gamechanger because you can do them solo (in fact its easier if you do) and earn about 1.3m a time, will take an hour from start to end with all setups. Because of the bonus this week I've done it twice and earned over $4m.

Avoid arena wars, its crap and won't earn you money. Ditto for the yacht, terrorbyte truck thing, MOC, avenger. If you have the biker thing I am pretty sure you don't need the CEO office either. Don't worry about the vehicle warehouse, aircraft hangar or CEO warehouse either imho.

Loads of more detailed guides here https://old.reddit.com/r/gtaonline/comments/lcauij...

Whatever you're doing, do it in a invite / crew session to avoid the randoms. Some stuff (like business sales) you need to do in a public session, So what you do is go in to the network settings on the playstation, go advanced and leave everything as-is and set your MTU to 800 or so. When you join you will get a public session on your own, leaving you to do whatever with no grief. Warning though - setting the MTU like this can cause connection problems when in a session with friends, so lets say you have a friend help do a sale and it disconnects the sale stops and you could lose money, so set it down to 800, get asession going, then disconnect and reset MTU to 1500.
You can get a friend in the session, leave, reset your MTU and then re-join the friend, this usually means no-one else will join leaving you in am empty session with no dodgy connection.

We usually crash a lot race at 8pm on Sundays, all welcome.

Haven’t been online for ages but fancy getting back on it. Is there a club we can join or anything? Could do with playing with some normal people to do heists / missions so I can start earning!
