They're running the demo on a 1080 laptop, it's not properly 8k so a 1080ti should give decent results. They have some clever technology and initial reviews are quite positive. It's a big leap forward in the screen tech. If it doesn't work I can always flog it on anyway. The rrp will be more than I will pay for the kickstarter pledge.

Project CARS 2 - PC Patch 2.0
• Improved driving line assist.
• Various AI behavioural and race line improvements.
• Multiple improvements and enhancements to multiplayer, and lobby handling.
• Improvements and enhancements to audio and sound effects.
• Improvements and enhancements to replays and replay cameras.
• USB keyboard support improved.
• Improvements, enhancements and fixes to Career flow.
• Enhancements to various cars’ handling and standard setup improvements.
• Tweaks and fixes to Achievement / Trophy unlock logic.
• Tweaks and fixes to setup UI and flow.
• Improved default assists for gamepad users.
• Fixes and improvements to headlights and brake lights.
• Fixes and improvements to ICM appearance and functionality.
• Improvements and enhancements to steering wheel support.

Apparently consoles, PS4 (and XBox) now have UDP, can anyone confirm and successfully log a lap using PCLapUpdater?
So, latest race at Nurburgring. Djbuzz07 rapidly becoming dominant, wins the race and now has a pretty much insurmountable lead in League 1. Simon P and I have extended our lead away from the relegation zone leaving Ollerton57 and molineux1980 firm favourites for the drop.
In league 2 Doodlebug87 and Twistygit looking dead certs for promotion.
Handicapped race was won by xjay1337 but Matt S continues to put in good results to keep the championship lead. He just can't keep this up, his handicap has plummeted from 2.72% to 1.22%, he has to succumb to the sheer maths of it eventually

Seem to be struggling with the final sector.
The new patch seems bad for FPS on console.... before it was fine but around brands in a 14 car lobby it feels like it's running at 20fps..
Yeah, the last chicane you have to be really aggressive, I was matching evans all the way and losing half a second there until I figured it out...Seem to be struggling with the final sector.

Project Cars Updates have re-instated UDP feeds for consoles, so we're all back to normal :-)
Thanks for all the Facebook likes and posting on various message boards, we had a record amount of drivers since the switch to Project Cars 2, 20 drivers and we've gone global with our first non British-based drivers.
So Championship 6, Race 5, Born2BSlow got back to winning ways taking 1st place in the Real-Times, but the Real Time League is still Djbuzz07's to lose. Relegation wise, Ollerton57 and molineux1980 clawed a point back against simon P but still looking in deep trouble. Personal rivalry between them to get(?) bottom place continues :-)
