Well the game is up it seems. Popped on tonight thinking I'd get a few laps in, Oculus Home update, ok no problem...
Now the sensor won't detect that it's plugged in and the headset thinks its plugged into a usb2 port. The official Oculus support forums are full of people who have had similar issues and zero help from oculus support to resolve...I've run out of time trying to get it working tonight. That's me out until the weekend now. Annoyed doesn't begin to cover it...
Same here. Won't recognise sensor and headset keeps dropping out on the 2 occasions the sensor was recognised Now the sensor won't detect that it's plugged in and the headset thinks its plugged into a usb2 port. The Oculus Support forums are pretty shocking, this isn't cheap kit and they are treating people like st...Let me know if you find anything. I have read that Oculus regularly stop support for old USB drivers in their updates, the only option is the usb3 controller card they recommend and even that has it's issues.
I've ordered the Inatech USB3 controller card for £18 off Amazon. I'm not having the headset sitting round gathering dust, it's too good for that.

Yep. Fitted the Inatech just before the update. Got it working this morning and was stable but the oculus software keeps saying please update or it won't work. I just ignore it now and it still seems to work. Let me know if you find anything. Had a good session at Snetterton this morning and now second on the world leader board. Was ahead till the last corner but got some wheel spin and missed out by 0.1 seconds
On the flip side just ordered a fanatec club sport wheel v2.5 with the BMW GT2 steering wheel. Should arrive mid May as it is a preorder.

Through gritted teeth a well done to Matt S who stole first place from me by 9 thousandths of a second.
With 2 races (2 weeks) left xjay1337 looks like he has the fastest league all sewn up but it's all to play for in the handicapped championship with at least 5 players in contention.
Welcome to our one and only Xbox player simon P who has leapt into the lead on session 35 as his handicap kicks in.

Sorry about that one - although if I'd managed to complete one of the numerous laps where I was quicker through the first two sectors and then screwed up S3, I might have edged out a little bit more of a gap. With 2 races (2 weeks) left xjay1337 looks like he has the fastest league all sewn up but it's all to play for in the handicapped championship with at least 5 players in contention.

Not used the Audi or BMW before though - might mess up any chances of the handicap title.

Also for those who are thick (like me) can you explicity mention which version of a given track you are using .
Saves loading into the wrong one haha.
I have to use the same name as the one that is being used in the UDP feed. Unfortunately that doesn't always match up with the track (or car for that matter) that you see within the game. If you pick the wrong one pclapupdater will have a big red cross at the top.Saves loading into the wrong one haha.

Could you do a reference table in the app which allows you to display the correct track info in the app but use the pants trackname for the udp stream? you know you like a challenge old boy lol!
Done, full track name shown on website and shortened one used in pclapupdater6 e-mails in 24 hours but no resolution.
Got to the point where they asked for proof of purchase, photos of the serial numbers on the equipment and contact details so I presume next step is to return it and see if they can figure it out. Luckily the guy I bought it off gave me the original Game receipt...I didn't want to pay the monthly insurance, but presumably I could have walked into Game and got it replaced...although I would have had to buy an XBOne controller first lol

Well....I'm even more crap than my usual crapness at Silverstone. Never liked the circuit so don't know it at all. 20 laps and still can't fathom it. Way off even my slow pace. Now getting annoyed with it :-) grrrrrrrrr
It's OK, I struggle a lot with it too. The car also doesn't help, I can't use my usual in-car view (customised slightly, a bit lower and quite a bit further back).Fine in every other car but this LMP1 literally cannot see anything so have to move to the roof mounted cams and I lose my ability to judge angles / skids as much.
