Do you want a hand? I can possibly help if you want to give me remote access via Teamviewer.
It's probably an issue with your AV or something smile

Ah, that could be why frown

You don't have to use the app though! You can manually upload the times if you'd like smile

Another guy has got it working on a VM on a macbook. As long as the VM can see your network it should be doable

Ok, that's cool, older versions of Windows don't have the voice synthesis

I get a message about PC not supporting, but it's a relatively new Lenovo Y50-70. Is it driver related on newer PCs?

The speech bit comes with Microsoft .NET Framework, the only person I've found so far where they didn't have the speech was on a VM Windows 7. Just presumed it kind of came as standard.

So I still haven't got the lap update going, will try installing it on my laptop to see if that is more successful, probably a good thing though, as I spent most of my time backwards.

ETA - It launches fine on my laptop, next time I have a go in PCars will see if it picks up my laps.

Onto the actual racing, Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but whenever the rear starts to slide, I always end up spinning, it seems impossible to save, regardless if I go lots of opposite lock, or just a tiny correction, particular going through the S's just before T2. Any tips?

Make sure you have UDP turned on in Project Cars, should still work without the speech. I try and avoid the kerbs, touching a kerb seems to be fatal for me.

The app won't install on my desktop, it suggests its installed, but won't launch. Its fine on my laptop, Not sure whats missing. UDP is on, so hopefully will be successful next session.

Its very twitchy. Brake into 4th, throttle gently, smooth power through.

I posted a video on the comments of the willy-web site.

I have investigated getting Windows to like the PCLapUpdater. Unfortunately involves money, lots of proving who you are etc, and did I mention money. It's kind of a good thing to stop virus production, but for a guy like me just wanting to share an application with a couple of dozen people, it doesn't make life easy. So apologies that a few of you are having to jump through hoops, but for the moment that's the best I can do :-(
